Having dove grey Chelford but need sone ideas what to put on wall above my coffee station

I’d add shelves and wall lights and then some nice decorative ceramic coffee cups, canisters etc. I’ve got a few bits from HK living which I like but there are loads around. It might be worth trying somewhere like Rockett St George

Have you thought of rearranging the furniture so the tv isn't the focal point? Furniture against walls can make a room appear smaller. If the budget permits I would add a coffee table to bring furniture into the middle of the room. I would also add a mirror to the dining area to bounce light and maybe install a low hanging pendant light over the table. I would also choose a neutral coloured rug as using a single colour for an item becomes the focal point. Grey is a good modern neutral for walls. If you want to use paper on a smaller wall choose a small pattern that won't date unless you don't mind repapering to keep it up to date. There are some really fantastic papers around at the moment such as chinoiserie, bold contemporary and typography but it depends on your preferred style? Maybe use plain (not patterned as this may date or your taste will change) velvet or silk curtains to soften the room. Use different colours and textures for the accessories to avoid block colours as per comment above. Pattern/interest can also be added in the form of wall art.

Gorgeous table and FAB start. Books for height, a stack of books and a green plant/fresh flowers. Also some height will be good, you do not have to go too high but something tall will do wonders for a table. Here's a picture of mine (sorry it is from Christmas time) but it will give you an idea. The pine is replaced with a fern or some fresh cut flowers, the bowl is always there to coral my manicure set and odds and ends. I found another that shows it styled last spring, sadly both shots are a bit useless as they are so tight you cannot really see much, I nabbed them off my social media postings, but you can see the base of stacked books, skull, candles are a constant then few things change seasonally.

Looks like a lovely home. I like a bit of ‘messiness’ anyway. 😊 No concrete ideas from me but while you’re painting, perhaps you can paint the legs (the wooden X frame) of your other table as well. But leave the ones of the stool as they are. I think this will show off the stool better. Oh and I like the legs of the table in question as they are.

Tracy. You’ve been getting a lot of good advice but I just thought I’d add a few thoughts. When I look at your current set up I see a classic and oriental feeling. I think this is timeless and just needs a refresh. Your sofas are a classic design and I think that recovering them in a more neutral fabric would work. But I think your curtains are really fresh and modern and it would be good to really layer on lots of cushions to tie in with the design. See attached other fabrics from Villa Nova which complement but don’t match your existing design. Loads of these layered up on a neutral linens effect background would look great and could be changed over time. For your walls, I actually don’t think dark blue is right. It’s very on trend right now and can look great in a smaller cosy room but your room is spacious and I’d personally keep that feeling of light. I know you don’t like wallpaper but a pale ivory type paper with a subtle colour or texture could look really elegant. I actually like your mahogany style furniture. It’s the tv stand I’d change along with maybe freshening up your lampshades. Minnie’s choices look great. Alternatively, some blue and white China lamp bases would look wonderful and pick out the Asian themes in your furniture. See photos attached and good luck

Shelves, as suggested, would be my preference, suitably dressed with all your coffee paraphernalia!

As you do not have the benefit of walls or units to butt up against with the shelves, I’d consider a metal frame type, such as these from one of my kitchen suppliers.
