In my opinion it is the saturation level of the paint that is the problem. The beauty of your kitchen is the natural flooring and the wooden worktops, it looks earthy. This is swamped by the blue paint, it just looks wrong. Without seeing the cupboard door colours close up it is tricky but I would suggest looking for something a bit darker than the cupboards but with the same hue. If you want a strong contrasting wall a deep olive green would work as it would balance the wood and the purpley greys.

The shelves are fine in whitewash, painting them may make the room feel smaller. Its better to let your items on display be the focus, than the shelves themselves. The darker bifold look more modern, and add extra dimension to the space. Depending on where the other window is, and how out of place it may look from the outside, you could replace it to go with the doors, or have the internal frame painted to match.

It's impossible to say without seeing the rest of the room. What flooring and paint shade do you have?

If it works on a sample board, it will work in the room so I would advise putting all samples together and experimenting until you find the combination that works because elements that look great on their own don't necessarily work together. Alternatively consult a designer.

It's a shaker style kitchen and I presume you have light oak laminate or something like Karndean on the floor? Without seeing the rest of the room or knowing what period house it is or what overall look you're trying to achieve it's difficult to advise but in general terms you need to create balance. If you have light oak flooring, I would try to include some wood tones through shelving. For the countertop I would choose a darker grey. I can't see what shade of grey the units are from the photo but a soft white in a non reflective glass would work. Custom colour splashbacks are available in any shade. Fired Earth Flake White would work with dove grey. This would also work with the floor. For the walls you could choose a stronger neutral to frame the units. You could try a sample of something like F&B Shaded White or Drop Cloth or continue with Flake White or Yes Your Honour to give it a Scandi feel. Steer clear of brilliant white except on ceilings. It always drains the life out of any room. I supply A4 paint cards in any shade and use these on my sample boards. It's a much easier and more cost effective way to put together a scheme than sample pots. They're only 50p each + postage- drop me a DM or find me on FB.

I have to be honest mixing a very contemporary splashback with a shaker kitchen is risky. I would stick with tiles to add texture.

Again it depends on the look you're going for and it's difficult to advise without samples of the kitchen unit and floor materials. Always plan the room as a whole rather than looking at elements in isolation. That said, a good dependable choice would be a satin white brick or square tile. You already have quite a trad kitchen so I would go for something a little more contemporary and steer clear of anything with a bevel.

The balance between pale grey units, darker grey countertop (plain) and fresh white tiles should work well, particularly if you can find somewhere for some open shelving in a light wood tone to balance the floor. I've attached an image of a kitchen I refurbished in an Edwardian house I subsequently let - excuse the quality of the picture, it was for my info only not for marketing but it gives you an idea of how satin white tiles can work against a stronger neutral, greys and wood tones. That was a mix of two F&B shades but something like F&B Ammonite, Cornforth White or Purbeck Stone or FE Bone White would work with flooring, tiles and units.

This is just a steer. It really is essential to do sample boards and look at how the shades work together. Keep the paint shade unsaturated and steer clear of DIY paints. The branded paints are much richer recipes. If the budget will stretch to it, get some accent lighting in - lighting is often neglected but can make or break a scheme.
