Render Type issues

I was supposed to get Weber render in chalk applied to my house but the tradesmen have used Johnstone's which is a different white it's classed as natural white so looks cream. Anyone had this issue it has had plenty of time to lighten and is still cream looks awful next to my boarding. Has anyone else had this issue thanks

The answer to your question; is to find a local architect, with who you can discuss your ideas before you employ them to draw up plans. They have the knowledge to help you decide on the next step. Beware those who offer you "Free" advice, nothing worth having in life is free, there is always a catch. You can find an architect either by personal recommendation, or by going to the RIBA website and searching for one in your area. With regard to whether you should go for bricks, or render, can depend on planning office guidelines in your local area, best you visit the planning office and speak to a planning officer. Thanks Ash. I have heard of paint discolouring and the colour that's on the wall has in fact got yellower although it has a lot of yellow pigment anyway. I can see the advantage of the Keim paint re longevity and presumably I could do away with a water seal so am tempted to contact them for a colour chart but I am still totally baffled by the testers turning blue! I think I've got some white chalk paint lurking around somewhere so I may try going over the testers with that once it warms up a bit again and then retest the colours again to see if that makes a difference
