The picture shows a single door and 3 fixed windows. Where are you intending to place the slider/pivot door?

The slide and pivot door would be the window. that window is 2 meters high, essentially the size of a door. We wanted something that would open up the space fully.

I’m not quite sure what a slide and pivot door is; does each pane pivot individually? Have you considered an accordion (or bi-fold) window?

Slide and pivot is a neater version of a bifold. Each pane is independent of the other and when you open the first like a door the others slide up to it and then turn outwards. they have much slimmer mullions than bifolds and give you more glass. I have been put off by the very mixed reviews on after sales service from some brands but they do look fantastic.

We considered bifolds when doing our kitchen and decided on sliders as we could have more glass and less frames when closed. If we lived in a warmer climate, bifolds would have been a better option.

Most Quartz worktop brands have several concrete looks which have varying textures and colours to give an industrial look and feel but with more practical qualities than actual concrete. Although Quartz is a thin product a dropped edge can make it look very thick if that’s your style
