Bifold doors internal colour

Hello,
I am doing an extension at the moment which will have bifold doors at two walls coming together to a corner post. The doors will be anthracite grey on the outside but I am unsure whether to go grey or white on the inside. The window man seemed to recommend against white on the inside as it will look odd when opened/when looking through from the outside. I am now unsure so wondered if anyone has any experience or recommendations from past projects whether grey or white looks better...

I think it depends on the style of the internal room? If it’s quite modern I think the dark grey would look good inside. My sister had big sliders installed when she refurbished her house and she chose dark grey inside and out and they look fabulous. Her brickwork outside is yellow. I tried to find a picture but only had this one which only just shows a tiny part of the dark grey sliders. I don’t know whether it’s anthracite grey or another grey but it really matches her kitchen units!

We were advised that white will help the room appear brighter, but it will also feel like the frame is bigger. It will also highlight the bead between the glass and frame. We decided to do black inside as going black on outside and will have black accents in the room internally also.

sometimes its good to take a breath and really think about how you live - rather than all focus being on the plans, which can seem immovable. For example, I have a largely open plan ground floor but on the advice of my sister whose kids were older at the time, I kept a small snug living room that is separate and as my kids have grown up through teenage years that has been a saving grace - we can all go to separate places,! I dont have to listen to video games whilst cooking etc :) Does one person often watch tv and the other like to read? Where do hobbies take place? Would it be a simple solution to just turn that dining table round to make more space for those doors? If you like to entertain would you like to hide the mess inthe kitchen to be cleared up later? I for example insisted that I could close my kitchen off from the front room and hall (and stairwell) because one of my pet hates is cooking smells lingering everywhere! Also consider if the doors could be retro fitted - and l ive in the space for 9 months first to see if you really need/want them?

Hi lovely Houzzers Currently we have an external sliding door between our kitchen and conservatory that i'd like to replace with bifolds. I have been looking at external bifolds as our conservatory is freezing so i need doors with good thermal protection and no draughts. I very much would like minimal sightlines as the opening is only 2.4m wide and, as we have sliding doors currently, we are used to no sightlines. I am looking for bifolds to open up the space in summer. At the renovation show i was advised by a bifold company that the external aluminium doors i have been receiving quotes for are way over spec for what i need and instead i should look at timber internal doors. I am really struggling though to find doors with narrow sightlines which are draught proof so keep coming back to the expensive external aluminium options. What are people's thoughts on this? Does anyone know of any internal bifold products with minimal sightlines which are still thermally sound or of less high speced external options? All advice gratefully received.
