Downstairs alterations and extension

Hi all, we are trying to decide how to alter the downstairs of our new home. I’d like the kitchen at the back and was thinking of a kitchen diner, with maybe a space separated off at the front of the current kitchen for a home office. The lack of seperated hallway makes the dining room feel a bit like a lobby. We could look to extend to the rear, removing the existing conservatory or using part of the double garage. The house is a 1980s detached with a nice open aspect to the rear. I struggle to visualise so any ideas would be gratefully received.
