What is the material? For instance is it quartz? Just be aware that if you’re going to have a waterfall edge on an island large patterns don’t join to match all the time.

The first picture isn’t a kitchen so not too sure what we are looking at? It seems very reflective so difficult to judge. Is it a very shiny worktop?

A couple of thoughts on the design that may help you replan...... There seems to be very little counter space between your hob and sink, once you set dirty dishes on one side and clean on the other, where will you prep? Perhaps you could put the hob in your island? Or move it or the sink to the other wall? It’s worth considering a change from your wall oven to fitting one (or two) under the counter one. You’ll get back the worktop space, and thus could easily move your fridge next to the pantry. We opted for two full size Neff slide and hide door ovens under our counters , one regular oven, one steam oven, with our hob directly above them and it’s one of the best decisions I made. I have the ergonomic and space benefits of a range cooker, but superior capacity and functionality for my needs. An induction hob not only looks sleeker, but effectively gains you work space too. You can stick a cookbook / chopping board/ etc directly next to your pot while cooking and it will be fine. Karen from One Plan is terrific and will draw you a proper well thought out plan. Alternatively a virtual planning appointment with Ikea will also result in a plan, and unlike Howdens, an actual price, too. Both companies work in standard cm dimensions....a 40cm wide cabinet is a 40cm cabinet is a 40cm cabinet. (One difference is depth and height.... Ikea units are a little bit deeper, and a little bit taller, so they have a little bit more capacity). Hope that helps.

Hi. The magnet design looks almost identical to what you have now apart from the sink being moved is that correct? Can the nib of wall on the left with the radiator on it be removed completely as this along with the massive fridge and breakfast bar is what is making the kitchen feel very separate from dining area. I would lose the massive fridge and get something integrated and full height like the current tall cupboard you have to left of garden door. If you can remove the bib then you can either extend the units out along the stove side to provide more cupboard space or you could put a built in banquette there for people to perch on and chat to you whilst you are cooking? It depends what you really need, more storage, more work surface or more options for seating? Personally I’m not sure the sink would work well shoved under the window I know it’s the fantasy but really how much time do you spend washing up and staring dreamily at the back garden? It looks a bit cramped to me. Try and imagine yourself in the space using it and how practical it would be. Assess exactly how many units you need to store your stuff and don’t have more cupboards for the sake of it. If you have a banquette you can have lift up seats for storing little used items which can be very useful. Anyway hope that’s some food for thought :)

I originally voted for #1 but would like to change my vote to #2.

My first suggestion to you, though, would be about what sort of material that you are selecting. Google Houzz (USA version) or just the internet in general and read about Dekton countertops chipping (I believe the particular edge selected is the problem) as well as pros/cons of every countertop material out there. As Daisy cautions, waterfall edges (at least on the US version of Houzz) have many horror stories (fabricators not skilled enough) and some just thinking that it looks wrong in kitchens that are not modern, etc. I don't know how much you have researched the material, but to me, material choice is first, then color.
