Help on high gloss kitchen colours
Comments (8)Hi Patricia. Glossy white cabinets will be great for your kitchen. Easier to keep clean than your existing kitchen as the smooth shiny finish will not hold grime like the textured paint on your current cabinets. A regular wipe down with a damp cloth will be all thats required. The white colour will not show up fingerprints. More important than the colour of the doors is the finish and colour of the worktops, since these horizontal surfaces will take the full brunt of the kitchen workload. Choose a lightly textured surface that will difuse the light from the window. Don't choose a highly reflective gloss finish that will show up every mark and crumb! I personally prefer a dark charcoal or grey patterned colour/finish for a worktop, so that my clients do not feel the need to wipe, clean and polish the surface every five minues. I hope this helps. Comments (15)You have all been very helpful, I think on balance I am leaning toward Matt, I have looked back at my insipration photos and the majority are matt, coupled with potential issues with keeping gloss clean and marks ..... and the genius idea from daisy England of those magic sponges to tackle Matt marks, I think I have myself a decision! Comments (7)Hello, your kitchen renovation is simply beautiful! I wanted to suggest if you would be interested in considering our splashbacks as an option to complete the look of your interior. Please take a look at our website: www.alusplash.com Also, on our Houzz page, you will see a recent project with Benchmarx in the UK, where they have a white kitchen and an accent of our Olive green which just lifts the whole space. You could choose to go for a darker shade to add an element of luxury to compliment your kitchen interior - perhaps Blueberry! We would be happy to send you samples, should you like to consider our splashback panels. AluSplash® is an aluminium-based kitchen splashback and interior wall panel, which is an ideal alternative to glass, acrylic and tiled splashbacks. Offering a high gloss look-and-feel at a fraction of the cost, AluSplash is affordable, easy to install, clean and maintain. AluSplash is not only fire-resistant and safe to use behind all popular cooktops. Available in a wide range of vibrant and earthy colours, AluSplash lends a sleek and contemporary look to any residential, commercial and retail space....See MoreWhat colour floor goes well with a High gloss Cashmere Kitchen ?
Comments (12)Cashmere changes colour throughout the day depending on the light so i would keep all units the same colour. Personally not a lover of American fridge freezers especially in smaller kitchens. They seem to draw your eye to them as they are so bulky. Depending on the brand you will need to allow ventilation around it and also space each side if you intend to have tall units....See More- 4 months ago
