How can I obtain such a brick wall? What type of brick was used? Can your direct me to a certain provider? Thanks.

Hi I had the same dilemma with the dining part of my kitchen. I love the brick wall effect so decided to try a wallpaper as it's only a small wall. I'm really pleased with the results. It cost me just £9 for one roll from B & Q. You can only tell it's wallpaper by getting up close and touching it - before and after photos attached.

being a big fan of all things rustic , I would say not only leave brick but go 1 step more and make that brick wall as bold as it can be. bring back it's original brown appeal or even paint it that rustic bold brown that any brick decor deserves. that said, some pics wouldve helped a lot here because sometimes going old isn't always the best option hah

Our wall was like that too. I'd give it another go with the power washer. All that white stuff, we had like that, think it's dome kind of residue. My dad removed it with either bleach or vinegar. I'd try another clean before painting

It’s north north west facing so doesn’t get much sun at all. Although enough for the ivy as shown on the neighbours as Ellie pointed out. I like your idea Sonia but just not sure they will grow due to the lack of sun. I’m thinking maybe some reclaimed pallets or something but I’m really not sure what. The bottom of the wall gets really saturated after rain fall so a planter of some sort might be a good idea. Hmm what to do...
