Hi Annie,
The basin is specially produced for this project as its dimensions and form, the marble we used is "arabescato faniello",
And the accordian lights are from Istanbul Horhor antiques bazaar,

My favourites are: A semi-closed off shower and loo. I have a similar layout at home, though still completely different. When entering the space, you'll mainly see bath and sink. Or this one, which sprouted from the very first idea to place shower and bath in the same line. With two sinks your radiator should be hung elsewhere, inbetween windows made sense for heating reasons, but perhaps not the best spot aesthetically. (And I've moved the door to create a good spot for a tall storage unit.) So I've looked up some radiators that would be just fine next to the bath or inbetween sink and loo:

Not all of your measurements are there so its hard to consider layout. I know you are keen to keep the logburner in its position. However, to me it makes much more sense for the kitchen and dining room to be together. A simple solution would be to switch the dining room and living room. Then I would actually put the new kitchen in the current living room space, and put your dining table in where the kitchen currently is. This to me would work, but again, as all the measurements arent there its hard to tell. You will know yourself how big these spaces are. Do you actually need to extend, why not make better use of your existing space. I do think a lot of people attach on a new extension then their old kitchen or dining room just becomes a spare room (unused) which is really pointless. We combined our existing kitchen and dining room to create the one space, to me it looks like you have the space there.

Just wanted to say that this is a very interesting discussion. @jade1476x you know your own tastes in decor and it’s well presented. Others will always have their own opinions. I think we’re polar opposites as i‘m nearly always living amongst clutter...mostly hubby’s computer and brewing equipment (drives me crazy) but so long as it’s clean and comfortable I’m happy. Do houses or people leave an energy or aura....no idea, but possibly as I’ve heard many circumstances of it. The feng shui thing I find interesting. From your photos I noticed a couple of things. By the dining table you have a small window but grand curtains that are sort of framing the radiator, kind of makes you focus on what is a bland (yet necessary) object. Then others have picked up on the mirrored tv cabinet, it’s a lovely cabinet but I’m not sure I’d want to be staring at my knobbly knees and ankles when I’m watching tv 🤣. No idea if things like that are feng shui faux pars, would be interesting to research further but by all means ignore me if you like things as they are. Good shout on the humidity, we tend to leave windows open upstairs throughout the day as we find it really helps with the airflow not to mention the heat from 3 computers running at full pelt every day. Hi Minnie! They are beautiful aren’t they!! 😍 I wasn’t looking to go bespoke- every year we say we’re going to move but never do- it’s been 5yrs now so I thought i better accept it and decorate haha. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on the tiny thing The boxed in pipes under the sink/ behind the toilet are so old and ginormous-proper bodged job our plumber said he will tidy this up and get rid of the box. The toilet will be a lot closer to the wall then I love the pic you’ve attached- makes me feel more comfortable tiling the window !
