I agree made.com is a good option, both for table/chairs and for a corner sofa which is the style I'd go for - modern, good way to 'zone' space, neat and comfy. The mendini was my favourite for style and comfort. Or Venturi though this was a bit bigger I think. Percy are lovely dining chairs, though Ikea now have similar & tables too so worth checking also. Too much choice sometimes.

What a great room! Those French doors with a view of the garden should definitely be the focal point, they are truly stunning and they are framing perfectly the garden which will look great when it's done! What I would start doing is to remove the carpet, you might already have some original wood floors under there but if not I think it could be worth investing in that. The heater is also bugging me... Maybe you could replace it or hide it behind a wooden case with similar paneling to the doors. Then I would remove the two low cupboards which make that side look a bit heavy and I suspect are not practical anyway. For the colours I would get rid of the wallpaper, repaint everything white including the ceiling and then you can start adding really subtle colours. For example I would perhaps paint the lower part of the walls (where your wallpaper is now) in a very light grey which will give a modern touch whilst not denaturing the heritage of the room. I really like the darker colour that is on some edges of the paneling of the doors and at the border with the ceiling so I would maybe choose a different colour but keep that concept which really draws attention to the original features. I would personally not add any new ones as suggested above as your room doesn't need it, it already has lots of character, Then for the layout you could, to accentuate the French doors as focal point, place two identical sofas facing each other with the space between them leading to the Frencg doors if you see what I mean. Then the rest is just accessorizing: a nice rug, some side tables and maybe a bigger pedestal-type table in front of the French doors with a big flower bouquet on top. You could choose as an accent colour (for accessories like cushions) something similar to the darker colour you chose to highlight the original features, this will tie it all in. Hello, Every room needs a purpose - a function. I would begin by giving it a purpose. An idea of what you want to achieve out of the space. My initial instinct would be to create a relaxing, calm and light office space with lots of storage (this would hold the toys). The alternative is to create a play room.. With the office I would do a more adult, neutral pallet (working from the white) and would create a full run of built in units that go from just under the window down the the ground. This would be deep enough to hold storage boxes of toys and books. A desk could come out from this unit (about half way down). I would then mirror a book shelf either side to give it symmetry and order adding to the calming effect. I hope this helps. Love it, it looks great :) That was a valspar paint wasn't it on the walls? That's the 2nd time today I've thought, hmm, maybe I should have shopped around a bit before paint a room F&B setting plaster! From memory you were looking at the Cole and son circus wallpaper, not sure of its proper name? The table and chairs look fab, you can see a fair bit of the coral legs. The wood has come up brilliantly. I think I remember a Victorian table before. I actually really like the floor as is.. I'm just trying to think back to your original inspiration pic as I probably won't find it again. Were you looking for the same effect but in Lino? I'm with you re spices and oil cabinets. The only thing I'd say is I think spices are meant to be stored in a cool place so may be better off in the larder.
