Something missing?
Comments (18)Hi Sarah, loved Minnie's suggestion of an oval mirror and here's a few vintage ones you might want to check out :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Oval-Oak-Beaded-Detail-Wall-Hung-Bevel-Mirror-/141713360023?hash=item20fec64497 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-STYLE-FOLIAGE-OVAL-WALL-MIRROR-6477-/400976260115?hash=item5d5c0c2c13 I am really fond of this one and there is a product on the market called rub and buff and its applied really easily to almost any type of finish. If you were to go for a bronzy finish you could easily transform the look of it to tie in with the browns in your scheme. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shabby-Chic-French-Vintage-Metal-Ornate-Oval-Mirror-Bedroom-Hall-Bathroom-Gift-/181715456533?hash=item2a4f15d215...See MoreSomething missing in my lounge?
Comments (24)Some really lovely ideas!! I really love the idea of making the area around my TV more of a focal point with shelves etc. I do worry about my plaster breaking up around it though! I suppose if it started to crack I could help it on its way and have some exposed brick :) Think I might bite the bullet and have a go hanging some real pictures on the wall and see how it goes. My rug has grey/blue/gold hues so will go find some accessories in the mean time to start pulling the room together. Thank you all for taking the time and sharing your ideas, I am loving all the inspiration!...See MoreSomething's missing...
Comments (14)Hi. It looks great, love the paper. I think you need you some art with some colour as the door wall particularly feels like it needs some colour to warm it up. I assume you've painted the woodwork (looks like it!) or I might have suggested the door in F&B French gray or lichen (not the grey shown!). Try angling the chair and try an existing cushion on it. I agree re the rug. Perhaps an ornament for the window sill and you could try a table lamp on the table....See MoreSomething missing . . .
Comments (18)Not sure how new or attached to your bed frame you are, but a nice new deep buttoned tall headboard in a soft pastel colour to match or contrast would be lovely and a pair of bedside table lamps. Would add texture and warmth to the room especially at night.https://theheadboardstore.co.uk/products/venice-upholstered-floor-standing-headboard? utm_source=Click&utm_medium=Channel&utm_campaign=Google_GB&ref=SFDR_27290157&variant=26719818887&gclid=CNTdw6X9kdICFUq17Qod9RgLiQ...See Moretanveermahal
