Botanical Reverie

Stepping into this bathroom, there is an immediate sense of lightness and joy. House of Hackney’s ARTEMIS wallpaper instantly draws the eye, introducing a bold botanical pattern that brings colour, movement and character to the space. A softer palette of white surfaces was intentionally selected to keep the room feeling bright and balanced, creating space for the wallpaper to become the defining feature of the room. Within the shower area, Claybrook’s 'East Haven Small Kit Kat Mosaic' tiles introduce a refined textural detail, offering a softer contrast to the expressive botanical walls while adding further depth and layering.
West One Bathrooms’ Marcel vanity introduces softness through its elegant form, with inspiration drawn from the sinuous yet rational shapes of the Bauhaus movement. Featuring curved solid wood and Vienna straw detailing, it offers a contemporary interpretation of the iconic 1950s Thonet designs. Carefully selected brass finishes further elevate the space, with glass and brass wall lights and pendant lighting by Pooky introducing warmth and refinement.
The design is finished with the Pearl Oval Mirror by Matilda Goad and blinds upholstered in Colours of Arley fabric, bringing a quieter pattern into the room through subtle striped detailing. The colours ' Burnt Sugar' and 'Chalk Pink' within the fabric were carefully selected by drawing out tones found within the wallpaper, creating a considered connection between the smaller details and the wider palette of the room.
