I was asked to create a family home for my client, Richard, in Stoke Newington. Central to the brief was to update the dated, tired interiors, renovate the dark, dingy basement and transform the property into a striking home with a 'gentleman's club' vibe. When it came to designing Richard's kitchen, he wanted the antithesis of white gloss and was keen to create a bright entertaining space.
