For this Victorian country estate house, located in a Conservation area, we designed a contemporary extension to provide a new entrance hall and create new living spaces facing the rear garden.

The new entrance hall was conceived to enhance the views to the beautiful garden, as one enters the house.
The staircase is treated as a sculptural piece on display and connects the two side buildings via a minimalist bridge floating above the entrance. The new glass roof floods the hall with natural light and completes the modern feel to the hall.
At the back, a new glazed building houses the dining room and reception room.
