Hardwood deck with steps, elegant curves and aliuminium fascias - Thames Ditton
North-facing, large, established garden.
After an orangery was added to this lovely, 1930s house, we were asked to create a patio area and renovate a third of the garden trashed by the building works.
This hardwood deck was designed with elegantly curved corners. The aluminium facing is really distinctive. The generous steps accommodate the fall in level and a planter was built into the top deck, to feature an Acer on the corner.
The following year, we renovated the old pond in the back of the garden, temporarily decanting the contents into a paddling pool, including frogs!
