We have taken the opportunity to be a little bit different, the room is so atmospheric we wanted to create a completely unique look for this kitchen. We painted the walls in Farrow and Ball ‘Charleston Gray’ to give a calm and soft feel to the room and that gave us the idea to introduce a new colour to our standard paint range, ‘Printer’s Black’. The San Simone quartzite worktop is bold and quite busy, but in this calm room with all the dark soft colours it just seems to work, it’s got character and a bit of sparkle. Mixed with the copper, which has a gentle glint when the sun shines it creates a whole new Shaker look.
