This house needed a new front garden once the extensive house renovations were complete. The brief was for a relatively traditional style of garden, with a new front path, driveway parking, plus room for plenty of plants. The clients were keen on a yellow and orange colour scheme and liked roses and herbaceous planting.

The new design included a generous planted area with a formal layout, with gravel paths and low clipped hedging (using Ilex crenata as a box substitute).

The geometric layout was softened with plants, including grasses such as Stipa tenuissima which added movement.

There was also a new tiled front path, a resin bound driveway and new garden railings.
