Jason - Stairs
like wider stairs on the bottom of the curve which could be used for sitting for larger events. Love the idea of bringing it into a sitting area around the fireplace. Also want the width of the stairs to feel generous, not narrow though don't need to be super wide. . .two people could easily go up together or pass by on the stairs, 48"?.
On the stairwell In this multi-level townhouse, a ribbon window on the stairwell is a great visual feature with a view to the garden outside. There is no need for artwork or photographs when you’ve carefully crafted your outdoor area. Could possibly look into courtyard and/or incorporate a window seat. Avoid looking onto the street
The owners of this home clearly have a sense of elegance and sophistication balanced with an offbeat sense of humor. ART ART; Contrasting this graceful staircase with figures plummeting down the center gets your attention in a way that is inventive and playful. Makes you wonder: Did they fall … or did they jump?
Like the drama of the railing, open at the bottom, curved balcony at top of stairs which is where a sitting area could be located.
