Traditional Garden, Brisbane

This is a larger view of the sunken garden. Besser block walls were built first. The sandstone flags are approx. 30 to 40mm thick and are glued onto the walls. We maintained the even spacings by placing small pieces of dowell between the flags. The steps were from the same quarry so we could maintain the same look. The sandstone was sourced from Helidon, Queensland.
