These Duette shades have a semi-sheer fabric. They filter light coming into the room and allow view through to the outside. The shades on the lower windows have top-down/bottom-up operation. The angled shades are stationary and will always be in the closed position. The shades on the slanted windows are operable and controlled by a remote.
