Suman and Naren, had this impossibly long thin kitchen. It felt as though you could reach across its width which was only 8 feet. On the other hand if two people were at either end they would have to raise their voices since they would be 24 feet apart. Gary Case owner of Signature Kitchens Additions & Baths had two solutions. One add two more arches connecting family room, dining room and hallway and bump into the garage 2 feet. “A space can always be improved. Sometimes the best improvement comes from enlarging with a kitchen addition or bumping another internal space. There was already one arch which inspired me to add two more” The owners tell me all the time there old friends familiar with the original cannot believe the dramatic difference.” Call us Kitchen Additions is after all our middle name! The word gourmet is described as a person with a discernible palate. This kitchen renovation was brought to life with aspects every gourmet could love: ample cabinetry, lighting, and a quiet nook that gives an air of grace. You don’t have to be a fantastic cook to enjoy a kitchen this fashionable, though. The storage options alone makes this design a winner when it comes to utilizing space and appeasing the product junkie in us all.

We moved the sink from the diagonal corner and centered it under the smaller window. On the east wall, we removed the fin walls that projected into the room to house the old refrigerator. By not putting wall cabinets on this wall, we created the open feeling they wanted, and provided the space for the wall mounted television. The wall is faced with 2” x 4” white glazed tiles. The new long quartz counter can be utilized as a buffet for dinner parties. JRY & Co.

This kitchen area, despite it's very large size, feels very warm and welcoming. The custom backsplash consists of handmade tiles in the shape of leaves and has an amazing effect from every angle in the room. This kitchen also successfully incorporates several distinct areas (Breakfast area, office desk, mud room) in a very homogenous and natural way. Easier said than done! This is a kitchen renovation where we used the existing cabinetry. Most of it was painted a cream color, but some of the cabinets were moved to create a separate work space. We used marble as the counter top and a pale wedge wood blue for the cabinets to define the space. There is also a beautiful clear leaded glass design in the wall above this space. We designed a feature tile wall near the range top and added a desk w/ shelving. The kitchen has a large table w/ custom upholstered chairs and a dark brown cork floor.
