Was wondering if we couldn’t get more light in our main kitchen by having the doors like this to the back kitchen. Would think you could have a lot of windows in that back kitchen area since it is on an outside wall. I also think the back kitchen might have a good view because of how the neighbor’s house has to be situated on their lot — it has to set back from the water more than ours.

We love the doors on either side of the back wall of the kitchen — thinking we’d like the same but w/one going to the grill deck (outdoor light coming in) and one going to the back kitchen (w/lots of windows in the back kitchen to also let light in).

the shiplap on these cabinets was installed on a built out soffit. we would not build the soffit and have shiplap installed on the recessed wall. There is another photo in this album which shows this.

pic shows the shiplap walls (ours may be recessed from cabinets). these lights are on our list from Capital Electric along with a larger version

lights? and note the cabinet door swing around hood
