I am indebted to Paul D’amico for having helped us realised the old dream of converting our attic into a beautiful bedroom. The result is beyond our expectations for we find the view both inspiring and spectacular. It is so nice to be able to see the city rooves of this area of Norwich, the outline of the streets, the swarm of birds, squirrels, and the sky. This lifts one’s spirit! Everyone in the building team Paul assembled were equally professional and dedicated. Your input as a project manager was much appreciated to help navigate the purchase of various building units and getting the building regulations and structural approvals. Thank you for your vision, architectural design, and ingenuity as the layout of the house was not the most straightforward. It is a different house now! I’m happily recommending Paul

Paul's been with us throughout our project and I don't think it would have been nearly as successful without him. He helped realise our ideas into a complete design and also managed the building regulations and structural sign-offs. He recommended and managed great tradespeople to see the job through. He stayed in contact and was available when we needed him.

We approached Paul in the spring of 2019 to design a studio for my wife Sue's textile art practice combined with a garden room that we could both use and enjoy. The studio was to replace an ugly garage. which occupied much space in our garden. After consulting with us extensively to establish exactly what we required and how much we were prepared to spend, Paul produced designs for a stunning contemporary building which made maximum use of natural light, could be opened up to embrace and become an integral part of the surrounding garden, including the feature of a 'green' roof, and looked beautiful in its own right. His suggested use of materials - thrombus larch wood cladding, aluminium bifold doors and guttering, large opening skylights, bamboo flooring, glass barn doors separating the two rooms all enhanced the overall effect we were seeking. After we approved the designs, Paul undertook to manage and oversee the project which he carried out with great efficiency and thoroughness, using skilled and trusted artisans. Lockdown in March 2020 delayed the completion of the project, but all was finished by June of that year within budget. Paul did a fantastic job on the design and project management of our extension. He worked with us throughout the whole process, from translating our initial ideas into plans and obtaining quotes through to dealing with tradesmen and getting final Building Control certification. He was always open and transparent, and worked incredibly hard on our behalf to make sure everything went smoothly. We are very glad we chose to use Paul's services and feel that he saved us a considerable amount of money on the final cost of the project due to his excellent knowledge and skills. We’ve been absolutely delighted with Paul’s work, both as architect and project manager, for our l-shaped dormer loft conversion. His work has been of a very high standard and he has been efficient and reliable throughout the whole project. Paul made the whole process stress-free for our family and with minimum disruption (which was particularly important given we have a small child) whilst always being pleasant and approachable. The tradesman he coordinated also spoke very highly of his work. We would certainly recommend!

We hired Paul as architect and project manager for a terrace house dormer loft conversion. He kept to the brief, anticipated problems, strove to keep costs down for us, found all the tradesmen, acted as a first point of contact for when things went wrong, visited regularly to check on their progress. He was always prompt. We're delighted with the results, it was about as hassle free an experience as one could hope for. We couldn't have done it without him. Highly recommended.

A warning! Paul D’Amico was paid in September 2018 to produce drawings for a house extension. To date no drawings or plans fit for purpose have been provided. He was rude and unprofessional, giving one the impression that anything other than a flat-roofed box may be beyond his scope. A most disappointing experience; disheartening, stressful and unpleasant.

Mr D'Amico managed to obtain planning permission for our home project even though it was a difficult case,he worked with us to improve our design and greater our expectations. Very efficient and pleasant gentleman.

Paul was excellent at providing advice first and then detailed drawings for a proposed loft conversion. We met 3 or 4 times and he took us through what we could do and explained options very clearly and in a professional manner. Spending time with you and explaining things well comes naturally to Paul and he has a fine eye for detail and shows passion with getting things right. We will be instructing Paul as project manager when the time comes and we will be recommending him to others.

Loft conversion to a Victorian hall entrance terrace. Including all design, project management and advice from start to building control approval. Paul was personable, reliable and realistic throughout. His advice was always good and the trades that he brought in to complete the work all delivered as expected, on time and to budget. The time Paul gave to the design and project management elements were easily worth the fees, and our overall cost was still well below that of the loft conversion specialist companies were quoting while allowing a much more tailored approach to the project. I had asked Paul to draw plans and take photos of a property I have in West Winch, Norfolk. He also researched Planning possibilities to split the plot of land into half and build a second dwelling. Paul found a similar Project that had received Planning Consent in West Winch roughly three plots away from mine. Paul also researched the market value of my property. He also made suggestions for necessary refurbishments and their likely cost in view of a sale. I found his advice excellent and backed with researched facts, his fees were reasonable and I would not hesitate recommending his services.
