We appointed Scott for our new-build house - a 14,000 sqft contemporary home in Wilmslow. Scott was able to interpret all our ideas and convert these into a stunning family home. As well as the exterior, Scott’s forte was the interior design. Scott's eye for detail has been commended by professionals constantly throughout the build, his understanding of lighting and using materials is exemplary. He worked with us every step of the way, understanding how we lived and translated this into amazing spaces in our home - we love the design. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Scott and his team.

We had a 35 year old house that was originally designed in 2 parts to suit the extended family that lived here. I approached Scott and his team to look at a full conversion into a modern house which could work as a single dwelling. The architectural redesign has honestly met all of my original requirements and surpassed my expectations. The team were easy to work with and open to design modifications in the planning stages. It's a great place to live now and I'd be very happy to recommend Scott and the team

I appointed Scott after going to see a couple of his previous projects, which were very impressive. Our project involved the demolition of an existing property and replacement with a contemporary new-build of 5,500 sqft. Scott’s design is truly remarkable and we are in awe of the spaces he has created - his attention to detail has to be seen. Every element of our home has been considered with the utmost rigour and care. As well as the architecture, Scott and his team were responsible for interiors, lighting design, landscape design and furniture specification. Should you desire a truly unique design, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Scott. We will definitely work together in the future.

Scott was the lead architect on the design of my 3,500 sq ft family home in Cheshire. He is exceptionally thorough and professional and has a fantastic eye for detail. He delivered an innovative contemporary design that far exceeded my expectations. His creative vision has left me with a unique and beautiful home that I am very proud of. Scott Donald has acted as our architect and interior designer since the inception of his practice, Donald Architecture. Our project, modest in scale, is ongoing and phased and involves the extension and renovation of our detached property and outbuildings in Cheshire. It has required the challenging integration of new build elements which were required to have a modernist expression along with the sensitive upgrading of the historic house and interiors. Often difficult to achieve in such projects is an overall cohesiveness and design expression, but this has been skilfully and sympathetically achieved. Scott is a highly motivated and imaginative designer, one whose lineage is orientated towards modernism. His in-depth attention spans from concept through to detailed design which is a rare quality. He is also very professional and client driven and keen to achieve the aspirations of the project – we look forward to our continuing relationship with Donald Architecture.

We would strongly recommend Scott to anyone wanting something that is innovative, whilst achieving everything required. He had the skills and vision when designing our extension to take advantage of an open rural location with wonderful views to fit with our cottage externally but contrast internally by adding light and openness. He knew exactly what we wanted and what was possible. His knowledge of the planning principles of the Peak Park was essential to achieve this. Scott's attention to detail has been commented on by artists and other designers who have visited us since completion. It is not surprising that the project won the "Best interior design project under £200k at the Northern Design Awards.

I was inspired to hire Scott after seeing his work in a magazine. Scott was highly professional throughout the design and build process and the result is that we have a beautiful and unique property that attracts lots of compliments. Scott, has a great eye for details and really knows how to maximise the potential of a plot whilst overcoming any planning constraints. We're absolutely delighted with the end result.
