“Chris completely redesigned the downstairs of our house and aspects of upstairs. He was very imaginative, which we really valued, coming up with ideas that we hadn't thought of. He clearly explained the pros and cons of each possibility, conscious of our needs and taking them into account. He had very good attention to detail eg re door handles and sometimes asked the builders to redo something if it wasn't right. He was reliable and kept to deadlines, meaning the project didn't overrun by too much. He was pleasant to work with and had a good relationship with the builders, which is extremely important. Obviously there are aspects that with the benefit of hindsight we might have done differently but overall, we were pleased with how the project went and we love our house.”

“Glen Thomas architecture provides an excellent design and architectural service. In recent years we have used Glen on numerous occasions and he never fails to understand the brief. I'm always pleased by his innovative design and understanding, which always leads to a first class finish. . We are currently in the process of building three of Glens designs, which cater to a modern way of living but still retain just enough of a traditional style. However if modern is what you are looking for, they've got that covered too. I always highly recommend Glen Thomas architecture.”

“We wanted to completely reconfigure the ground floor of our house and partvof our upstairs. We were very impressed with the professional service we received from Turley & Young. Their questions and suggestions were very good. The drawings, right through to the Building Regulation drawings and electrical requirements, were excellent and covered every aspect of the changes. We are very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to others wanting plans etc. done for any work they have planned. .”

“Our first "in the flesh" viewing of the Oakwrights Kenchester barn-style garage we purchased was at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed - we were amazed at how spacious it was and the quality of the build was clearly excellent. Our requirement was for the building to be constructed on a pre-arranged base. We were delighted when we initially sought a quotation from Oakwrights to find it undercut the nearest estimate we had by £4000! The whole process of erecting the frame and tiling took three men three days from start to finish, which was amazing. They were totally professional and courteous and kept us informed of progress throughout. The end result is fantastic and gets much admiration from visitors and friends alike.”

“Elliott Pardington We had been looking at the Old School in Goodrich near to Ross-On-Wye for almost a year, the paperwork as always seemed to be taking for ever. As usual this was down to making certain that we had a clean title. We finally completed the October 2018. The school had been closed in 2000 and remained shut till a group of local builders purchased the school in 2008. They had plans passed by Herefordshire Council and work got underway. For whatever reasons work stopped in 2013 and the school was put on the market for sale in 2014. The prospect of converting the near two hundred-year-old school into four houses was something we were really excited about, so whilst the solicitors were getting the paperwork all set up, we wanted to find an architect with the skills needed to maintain the character and history of the building. The original builders had not used an architect to draw up the original plans but had used a structural engineer, quite frankly we had we were not given any working plans so it was a case of starting again. Looking back now we think ourselves as being very lucky to have been given the recommendation of Elliott Pardington. First impressions are very important, we knew from when we had our first site meeting with Elliott that we had been recommended to a first-class architect. What impressed us was how easy Elliott was to communicate with, he understood everything about current building method, what new materials were available to be used on our 200-year-old school. A building of this age had many issues that were needed to be overcome to make it into homes that were fit for the 21st century. As you would expect from any good architect the plans and detailing on the plans were perfect. Armed with a full set of plans our build got underway, our team of tradesmen and builders had detailed drawings on site, but if there was anything that they were unsure of or unclear about Elliott was always available at the end of a phone. It was nice to see him on site as well, as he popped in on occasions to see what progress we were making. The project was completed in November 2019. We have sold two of the four homes with another sale pending. We have all heard the expression “Planning and Preparation Prevent Poor Performance” and it is in no small part that Elliott Pardington provided us with a set of plans that made our project an outstanding success. “We hired Mundo Architecture to give us a concept design on our new build, Agniezka and Jonathan came on site, and fully immersed themselves into the location. They took away our brief and implemented into different options. The end result was spectacular, they really understood what we need it and they respected the location. Although there scope of work was only the concept design, they were always there if i was in doubt of something on the final design or technical details. Very professional and very approachable are the two adjectives which come to my mind when Mundo architecture is mentionned.”
