Rizzo Architecture
Architects in Balmore, East Dunbartonshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars30 October 2019
“Davide Rizzo is a talented and creative architect. He developed our ideas into a workable plan, and saw the project through planning permission, construction, and ultimately completion. Davide listened closely, and suggested his own ideas, with the result that the extensive renovation exceeded our hopes and expectations. Davide was always responsive and available for ongoing discussions at all stages. We can give Davide our highest recommendation, and would be pleased to work with him in the future.”
Wittets Architects

“Exceptional support from start to finish. We started at the pre-design concept and finished at the completion certificate stage. Whilst our principal contact was Stephen Gauld we worked with a number of the other Wittets team members. Attention to detail was first class and time was taken to understand exactly what we wanted from our new home. Our ideas were turned into a stunning house design with architectural merit. The build programme, like any, had its difficult moments but again the Wittets team worked closely with us to ensure that minor problems stayed minor. We ended the project with a beautiful home.”
MAP Magnus Architect Practice

“Magnus proved himself excellent at making best use of space. He spotted that the original design we had for our granny annex put the bathroom in a prime position for living space. He produced an alternative design that moved the stairs and tricked a usable bathroom in underneath. As a result, we have a beautiful, good sized and sunny kitchen / dining space overlooking the garden and we observe that our guests spend a lot of time in this room as it is such good quality space. I am sure this has contributed to the financial success of our venture. Search the web for Glasgow Holiday Cottage to see images.”

“Mark did the plans for our home extension in London. His plans made the most out of our very limited space, he had great ideas, listened to what we wanted, was available to discuss and amend. He is enthusiastic about his work, professional and very experienced. And great at explaining to a first timer on such a project, there were no stupid questions. In addition he dealt with the local planning office on our behalf which was a great benefit, as there request seems to change on a regular basis. I have recommended Mark to a number of my friends all of whom have had only positive feedback.”

“From start to finish we had great communication and collaboration with Studio Kap. They were really enthusiastic about the project but always listened to our ideas and provided brilliant visual aids to help us achieve what we wanted for our home. Their experience meant that they could give us the very best advice which resulted in a high quality, innovative renovation that was clearly costed and expedited.”

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars15 June 2018
“I contracted ACJ Design - ACJ Group to build a three bed bungalow for me in January 2018. The foundation work started in March 2018 and was wind and watertight by 15th June 2018. Up to the wind and watertight stage I have found ACJ to be very professional and easy to deal with. Any requested changes by me to the original plans were acted upon without fuss. “Superb professional service. I had never used an architect before despite undertaking many renovations but this was a major project and I needed help. From taking a house back to bare walls and replacing everything inside I was able to move my furniture in on the desired date and simply wire up my TV. The house won awards and there are photos on their website under Former Fisherman’s Cottage. A pleasure to work with Reynaulds Architecture.”

“This practice successfully blends state of the art green energy technology with the quite different needs of historic building conservation and new build. In a broad and traditional landscape, where planning restrictions and legal requirements may be potentially onerous, Ian Sutherland McCook's knowledge, experience and relationships helped a difficult project through to a very satisfactory conclusion. For anyone seriously considering a real estate investment in the north of Scotland, I believe this is a contact not to be passed over.”
