“Mr Clark was recommended to us by our Builder when we decided that we wanted a large extension built. After meeting with Mr Clark we were happy to employ him as our Architect for our project. He is clearly an experienced Architect and provided us with suggestions and ideas throughout the process of having the plans drawn up. Mr Clark is very approachable and listened very carefully to what we wanted to have included in our extension. He was able to put our thoughts and ideas into the drawings which made us feel part of the process. Any issues with the drawings were very quickly and professionally dealt with by Mr Clark. We were also very grateful to him for overseeing the administration side with the Planning Department and working closely with our Builder and Structural Engineer. He contacted us regularly to give us updates on the drawings and the planning process. We thought that his professional fees were extremely good value and would have no reservation in recommending Mr Clark as an Architect.”

“Jamie worked with us and listened to our ideas. He explained options, was happy for us to spend time thinking and when our builder made a suggestion that suited him rather than us Jamie was quick to step in. He had a clear idea of what we wanted our pagoda extension for and was quick to point out potentially how dark this could make our kitchen. An excellent light tunnel he designed for our kitchen solved that. We could not be happier.”

“I was first introduced to Ruairidh by an old architect friend who described him as a star pupil and a rising star. My first project with Ruairidh was a contemporary 4 bedroom house on Eriskay overlooking a beautiful beach facing the Atlantic. We were delighted with the outcome and then asked him to design and rebuild an old ruin on the same property which, in our view, had an even better outcome. The things I like about working with Ruairidh is his ability to listen, his creativity, enthusiasm and his collaborative approach. His collaborative skills in particular, allows him to get the best out of his client and builder which results in high quality buildings and makes the whole process fun. This was to be a challenging project for both ourselves and D.A as the design would have to meet strict planning criteria and a high build specification.
