“We really enjoyed working with Cormac & Huw on our house redesign. They brought beautiful and innovative ideas to the project which gave us much better clarity on our concept. They were both a pleasure to work with. We can’t wait to move it from computer to reality, before engaging with ODDD design we were looking into a black hole of concepts and unknown costs. “Steve and Dom Shiels proved to be an excellent choice. We found them on the internet. Our first meeting showed that they listened to what we wanted then added all sorts of interesting ideas and details for us to think about. They then designed a ground floor extension that had a footprint half the size of our original house. We disscused various options and then settled on a design. They dealt with planning permission with no problems. We were very fortunate that that they tendered to build it too. This was a complete joy. They were at our house everyday for several months and we never felt irritated. The precision and care they took at each stage was incredible. They always left the site clean and tidy. The final building is beautiful, with lots of details that make us think wow. We have lived in this hous for 38 years and have always loved it. We love it even more now. Thank you Steve and Dom.”

“I was directed to Mark by Amvic Build because I wanted to build using insulated concrete formwork. He understood exactly what I was looking for and I now have a property that has exceeded all my expectations. The planning application procedure went very smoothly because of the detail contained in the application pack. The working plans he provided were detailed and allowed me to project manage most of the work myself. The house follows the Design for Life ethos and is practical as well as stylish and contemporary. He was also flexible with his design and allowed me to 'tweak' without getting cross! Now that the house is nearly finished I am seeing smaller details and views, not obvious on the plans, that give a new dimension to the rooms. I can't wait to finish and would not hesitate to recommend Architecture-m to anyone with a project, especially if you are hoping to project manage yourself.”

“Four years after completion and the house is still fantastic. The brief was to transform and extend an old house for modern living. After interviewing a short list of architects we chose Chris. The preliminary sketch he showed me with his ideas after his first visit to the site was replicated and enhanced in the final build. Every "annoying" trait of the old house has been eliminated and what we have now is a beautiful combination of an old and modern house which works well. The old part of the house is made of stone on the left and the new part of the house is glass and wood on the right. The large window area gives outstanding view over our wood which the previous old and small windows did not give. Chris also designed a free standing glass and wood studio which sits to the left of the house - again with outstanding views The team (builder RG Walker, Quantity Surveyor Tozer and Tozer and architect Fasciato) worked extremely well together to deliver a project that was on time, on budget and of outstanding quality. I would and have recommended Fasciato.”
