Lindberg & Smith Architects
Architects in Sequim, WA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars27 September 2015
“We used Lindberg and Smith for two projects and were extremely happy with the process and results. They were very professional and competent and extremely easy to work with from start to finish. Our second project with them was quite large. They effectively handled the complex work and total site design while keeping track of many, many details that made each piece of the project an exquisite success. Throughout the project they were creative, great listeners, and adaptive to evolving requirements. We appreciate their deep sense of "Northwest" style and the easy, responsive way they work. They also helped us select a great construction outfit which effectively delivered our mutual vision. L&S was very effective at designing to budget and in keeping their fees in line with the original estimate. I would gladly work with them again. They have my strongest recommendation. A truly great team.”
Stig Carlson Architecture
Architects in Sequim, WA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars31 January 2012
“We would highly recommend Stig Carlson as an architect for your project because he listens to our ideas, he understands that this will be our home, not just his design. Stig has the unique ability to diffuse a situation where the individuals disagree on a particular issue, to move beyond this point until the two have had an opportunity to discuss their views and then later he will remember to readdress this issue. Stig manages to keep the project moving forward when dealing with county officials who give vague guidelines by requesting specific details of what they will and will not accept. He is an effective advocate for your project and provides an excellent set of drawings for you and your builder to help eliminate unexpected costly and time consuming change orders His kind and gentle manner is well suited for any client, yet strength and knowledge arm him for county regulatory rhetoric. We are most pleased with our soon to be built home. Sharon Vaughn and Bruce Porter”
Terrapin Architecture

“I was very pleased with the process and results of working with Terrapin Architecture for an addition to our home. Richard really heard what I was asking for and envisioned how to make it happen. I received the initial drawings via email along with a video, which gave me the opportunity to give feedback and ask questions. He was very professional and met my deadlines and budget requests. He also recommended an excellent contractor to bring it into reality! I am so happy with the results!!!”
Cate Comerford Design PLLC
Architects in Sequim, WA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars14 October 2013
“Cate Comerford served as the Architect for the renovation of our 1844 farmhouse in Chester, NJ. We hired Cate because of her excellent reputation in historic preservation and adaptive reuse. Her design corrected the missteps of previous renovations and restored the period details of the original structure. She skillfully blended a new addition to complement the old farmhouse, but without mimicking the style, such that it appears as though it had been constructed by the original builder’s next generation. The results were outstanding, so much so that our house received the Historic Renovation of the Year award from our local historical society. Would we hire Cate again? Yes, absolutely, and we did when we renovated our cottage in Maine. And again we were extremely pleased with the results.”

“Ann Raab, architect, designed my garage and the covered walkway connecting it to my house. Since the garden space in between is shaded, and since I wanted it to reflect a Japanese influence, the walkway's supports and overlapping shingle roofs are reminiscent of Japanese architecture. The walkway also has a gentle curve, which has the feel of a river. She really listened to my thoughts and came up with a design that visiter's exclaim over. Her new business designs and builds tiny, energy efficient, green homes and spaces which are not only good for the environment, but healthy for their inhabitants and beautiful to look at.”

“I hired Mary to help me define a space that was to be a home office. She came up with a perfect solution and an clear floor plan. She's very talented and has a sensitivity to the needs of her clients that is truly exceptional. I like her low-key approach. My husband and I were able to implement her design with ease, and now enjoy a home office that we can both use.”

“We had the site location and floor plan figured out and Ada drew up our house plans from there. She made some valuable comments regarding the floor plan. A few items such as various specs were not right but easily corrected. The building inspector liked the plans and requested just a few changes/ additions. Again Ada was very responsive and provided additional changes. No engineering or additional charges were required. This was a pretty simple process with help from Ada.”
Touch Architecture

“My wife and I are fortunate to own a great piece of property with open spaces and views from DIA to the Tech Center. When we began the design process, we met with many architects. Of all of the architects that we met with to consider a design for our house, Lisa was the only one focused on what we, the customer, wanted. Every other architect wanted to use our property as a showcase for their design. Lisa was able to show us other beautiful projects she had completed. However, we really appreciated her inquiry into our hopes, dreams, and wishes for this house. Very quickly, we knew that Touch Architecture was going to design our dream home based on what we, the customer, wanted. Throughout the design process, as we provided feedback on the hopes of our new home, Lisa would regularly come back with a design to which we responded, “That is exactly what we were thinking” or, “I like that better than what we had asked for”. My wife often remarked how well Lisa listened to our requests. During the building process, Lisa would regularly visit the job site. She would take measurements, work with the builder, and ensure that the product matched her vision. At one point, Lisa’s measurements helped us to rectify a major problem. Her attention to detail during the building process ensured that the builder was interpreting the plans to the exact design specifications. It is not often when working with people in the private sector to come across a company with such devotion to the needs of it’s clients. The work Touch Architecture did for our new home was grounded in an unbridled passion for creating the dream home for the client. Lisa’s selfless approach to our project demonstrated the high level of passion for customers, integrity, and professionalism that Touch Architecture supports. I would highly recommend Touch Architecture to any prospective client. As a matter of fact, if I knew of someone who was considering any other architect, I would suggest they abandon that company and replace it with Touch Architecture. If we ever build anything in the future, we would not do it without Touch Architecture.”

“I've worked along side Jeff on several projects and have found him to be both professional in his approach and knowledgeable with the work that he produces. The only reason for not giving him a five star review is that we have not had the opportunity to work directly. Should the opportunity come up, I wouldn't hesitate to consult and or hire him directly.”

“Simon Little (Studio STL) is the architect we chose for our remodel. We didn’t come to him with a simple project, either – it’s the comprehensive remodel of a 3,200 square foot barn-style building we’re converting to a beautiful, single family residence. The previous owners were going in a remodel direction we felt didn’t suit the house or its location. Simon’s design gives our house the functionality and style it was lacking. It isn’t often you find an architect with his level of creativity balanced with budget-conscious judgment. Furthermore, as professional tradespeople ourselves, we’ve had the opportunity to work off several of his designs – each has been an accurate, creative set of plans (and beautiful!). He’s very professional and timely in all his correspondence. All around, Simon is a pleasure to work with.”
