“After extensive research we appointed Wighton Architects for our renovation and extension of a 4 bed Victorian house. From the very start of the process, Stuart impressed us with his eye for detail and aesthetic consideration. He presented multiple concepts, all of which were well considered and met the needs of our family and 'wish list'. Once we decided on the design, he worked very well with the planning department in Waverley despite being based in Leeds and smoothly gained permission. He played a key role in appointing the building contractor and then as project manager throughout in collaboration with the builder. His approach meant that the timetable was kept on track and any issues with the building firm swiftly and amicably resolved. He brought the project in on budget which was impressive given the scale of work. I have no hesitation in recommending Stuart and Wighton Architects.”

“Always there to give an helping hand and advice This project is a large bungalow extension and without the advice and help from Lee at LMC Architecture it would be difficult. This required careful planning not only with the design, but he helped immensely with the planning department, to which I’m very grateful. The design he put forward was just amazing. I found also with his experience and knowledge of local suppliers was a great benefit. The help he showed was extremely professional, a pleasure to work with. “We cannot speak highly enough of Nick and his team. Nick took time to get to know us and our property to ensure the designs created we’re just right for us and our home. He listened to what we wanted (rather than impose his ideas) and then offered different options to develop our idea, based on his experience and skills. The cost estimate was transparent and exactly as expected, as was the project plan presented at the outset. Most importantly, however, when communicating to us any objections raised by the planning office, Nick and his team had already devised a solution with which planning (with whom they obviously have good relations) were satisfied meaning that, despite a number of hurdles, the process was hassle free from our perspective. As I say, extremely impressed and highly recommended.”

“Paul Swinney is an architect with ideas and proposals that generate the wow factor. In the past we have used architects that have turned out to be nothing more than draftsmen. I was genuinely impressed with the scheme Paul drew up for us. He listened to our requirements, created something which was not only practical but aesthetically pleasing...and then navigated us through the planning permission labyrinth, dealing with some challenging neighbours' concerns along the way! He also has great connections and relations with builders and trades in the local area so can provide guidance on the full scope of build projects. Thanks a lot Paul!”
