“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. We would definitely use them again for future work.”

“NineTen Architects were excellent from start to finish on our project - a loft conversion to a bungalow, adding master bedroom with glazed end wall, ensuite bathroom and dressing area. There were also modifications to the Ground Floor, removing a wall and (obviously) adding a staircase. Jeremy and James visited us and talked through the potential of the space, helping us to understand what was and wasn't possible, down to the details and materials. NineTen were very good at communicating and sent us a number of sets of drawings for comment, taking on board our requests at each stage and revising the drawings all the way up to a detailed set suitable for the builder to use for construction. Overall, completely satisfied and happy with the service we got from NineTen Architects and would recommend them to anyone.”

“Full set of drawings for single floor extension to rear of the house. Drawings were completed to an agreed time frame and amended at my request without delay. A full brief was carried out before drawing work started with Matt explaining what may be best for such an extension. The only amendments i needed to make was the roof covering as the zinc proposed (my choice) worked out very expensive so asked for an alternative and again was given advise without any hassle. Overall a very good service and would recommend to anybody in the future.”

“Our grade two listed 400 year old cottage is situated in as sensitive conservation area. There were many challenges, not least, ensuring our neighbours were happy with the end result. David's expertise in all aspects is outstanding. The planning officer considered the finished product to be one of the best and most harmonious relationships and our parish council, believes our cottage to be the showcase of the village. The brief was to be sympathetic to the age and area, but contemporary and fundamentally our home. David took our brief and enhanced -by discussion- virtually every aspect of the design and build. This was a big, complex project lasting nine months. Four years on, we wouldn't change any detail. We would be delighted to speak or indeeed show our beautiful cottage to any prospective client. Additionally, David is a delight to work with and a major part of the success was due to David's calm, diligent and professional manner throughout.”

They have been great partners in working to prepare a unique scheme that reflected our vision, while also bearing in mind our budget. Their practical and creative approach throughout the planning, approval, tender, specification and project management phases has been measured and considered, reflecting their extensive experience in their field of both architecture and construction. There is no doubt our project would not have worked out as well as it has, without their expertise. We would happily use their services again and recommend them to others.”

“Fineline Architechs offered us a fantastic service. We live in a Tudor, listed building which required a great deal of renovation and a total revamp of the large parts of the house. Fineline delivered a fabulous design which was both contemporary but also sympathetic to the original ancient building. Both Katie and Chris had great ideas and where a joy to work with. They were also excellent at dealing with our local council and conservation officer to ensure that the designs we submitted would have the highest likelihood of success, which indeed they did as we had the entire programme of works agreed by the planning department. I can not recommend Fineline highly enough and I would definitely use them again.”

“We engaged Nicola Richardson as the architect for updating our Victorian terrace house in Central Oxford. She listened very carefully to our requirements and was creative and clever in her suggestions to use the space we have available, and also to bring light into the house. She demonstrated exceptional knowledge, not just of architectural ideas and principles, but also of the local planning issues and department - very important, given we live in a conservation area. We found Nicola to be incredibly professional too. She always turned up to meetings on time and provided all relevant drawings with a good amount of detail, making it easy for us to work with others on the project (like the structural engineer, party wall surveyor and builder). We have no hesitation in recommending Nicola Richardson Architects.”
