“I hired Chris's Custom Cabinets as a Groupon error. The Groupon was supposed to read "cabinetry work" but instead said "carpentry work." Still, Chris's Cabinets chose to honor the Groupon and they installed a new door and put up crown molding in my kitchen. We needed a number of improvements finished before we moved in. We were referred to Cabinet Technologies. We reviewed the work we needed with Peter Bruno of CabTech. He assured us that he would be able to complete the work in a timely manner. We were busy and were unable to closely monitor his work. He completed all of the work in a timely, professional and workmanlike manner. The work included framing, installing drywall, adding doors and trim to a den, a custom made pantry (Designed, constructed and installed by CabTech) and a complete repaint of the inside of the house. We could not have been more pleased and if the same situation arose again we would call Peter!”

“I hired Luxe Showroom Ltd. for two sequential projects: a kitchen remodel and bathroom renovation. I can't say enough about how accomodating they were during both projects. If there was a need for a change or modification they made it happen. Nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen renovation included replacement of all cabinetry, granite countertops, sink, backsplash, and some appliances and electrical work. They came up with a way to creatively re-use some of the existing cabinets and counters as a craft/work bench in the basement, which required some challenging carpentry work. The bathroom renovation was a complete rip out and reinstall. The designer and craftsmen worked with my 16 year old daughter to come up with a modern yet functional design, with totally custom tilework and innovative lighting. They were totally flexible in allowing us to do as much or as little of the sourcing and work as we wanted. Any minor glitches were dealt with promptly and effectively and without controversy.Budget estimates were met, and adjusted fairly if changes were significant. Overall, I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for professional, reliable and creative design and construction services.”

“My wife and I worked with Beth Martinec at Affinity Kitchens on a kitchen remodel we undertook. Affinity Kitchens provides semi-custom and fully custom designs. We choose the full custom, since it didn't add a significant amount to the cost, yet gave us the flexibility to do some unique things that added significant usefullness and value to our kitchen. Beth recommended removing the soffits in our kitchen which are a common feature in southwestern US homes built in the early 1990's. Beth also dramatically changed the shape, orientation and size of the center island. For us, it was somewhat difficult to imagine the final look despite the good renditions Beth provided, but the result is absolutely beautiful -- custom stacked cabinets with ribbed glass doors, built in appliances, and a huge functional island that easily has 4X the storage and counter space of the previous design. Despite this, the kitchen appears larger and more spacious. Everyone who sees it is stunned by the different look and efficient use of space. Most people don't go through too many kitchen remodels and it can be daunting. Beth comes from a family that is in the remodeling business, so she knows design and how it interacts with all of the other things that will be affected such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc. This puts Beth in a rather unique position to tell you exactly what to expect as you move through the design, construction and installation process. Working with Beth is really enjoyable. In addition to being very competent in her job, she communicates well, has a good handle on the project schedule, has an easy sense of humor and is supremely patient when it comes to stumbling blocks (ours were choosing countertop material and backspace tile). Beth doesn't rush people to decisions, instead focusing on providing you with enough options, advise and suggestions to make you comfortable with your decision. I suspect there are stumbling blocks on most projects, so it's especially nice to work with someone with Beth's patience and competence. Beth Martinec at Affinity Kitchens would be a great professional to handle your next remodeling or new construction project.”
