“I had about a third of my basement, about 550 sq. ft., completed using the Matrix Basement System. This r-18 rated, water proof, mold proof, mildew proof system (4' by 8' panels) was perfect for protecting my investment. They also did my drop ceiling, all electrical, hvac work and installed the three doors we added. The total process took about 4 weeks. The work crew was very professional. They worked with me in coordinating the parts of this project that I had other contractors complete and made the whole experience very enjoyable. My completed basement blends in with the rest of my house. The insulated panels keeps the humidity down and the temperatures at the same level as my upstairs level. I love it.”

I gave him my list of must haves and he designed a digital rendering of what it would look like. From demolition to the final result he was always clean, courteous and considerate of our lives as he worked around us. We love our new bathroom and wish we had done it sooner. “I used Balbes Custom Building for my repair and my remodel of my basement when I had a flood. I was concerned since I just moved into the house. The basement was just redone. Jon Balbes and is crew were amazing! Jon came in and assured me he would get the basement looking good again and he did! Balbes custom building took care of the water damage, put up new drywall and painted. They fixedf thr damaged floor in the bathroom and got the carpet in stalled as well. In addition he referred me to a plubmer that helped with the flood problem in the first place. The work he did was beautiful, in a timely fasion and reasonably priced wi. I would use Balbes Custom building again in a heart beat.”

“The Pattyn Group designed and installed our fireplace and mantel. It is truly the centerpiece of our house! They helped us with every design element from tile layout to grout color to the wood for the mantel. We used Pewabic tile and they installed it flawlessly. All the work was completed quickly. “This builder is fabulous. They were honest, up front, conscientious, timely, creative, clean and their trades were terrific. This was a top quality job and the builder worked within my budget. They were working on several projects at the same time of mine and while I was by far the smallest job, they always treated me exactly as they did the job that was 10x's my size and budget. The comprehensive years of experience that the team had was invaluable for me. Great company! I only hope to win the lotto so I can have them build me a house from scratch...this time no budget.”
