He is talented in a variety of home improvement specialties including carpentry, installations, and demonstrates a completely accurate interpretation of a customer's ideas for a given project. He maintains a list of professionals who perform jobs within related specialties including electricians, plumbers and painters, for example. His estimates are fair, and there are no hidden costs. If extra materials are required he discusses this beforehand with the customer as the need arises so you are well-aware and may consent or decline extra materials or labor. He and his coworkers clean up the work area at the end of each day and are never " no shows", which is a common issue with other contractors I used in the past. I have employed Diversified to provide me with all three services, architectural plans, engineering work (including obtaining obtaining permits) and subcontracting work. Diversified does a good job in holding the subcontractors accountable that work is done well and on time. They ensure subs work in concert with one another so there are relatively few lapses in work as compared to other firms. I have not been stuck with a punch list that takes months to address. They address issues and problems right away. My level of satisfaction is so high, I have hired Diversified to work on two different houses. The first time I have ever hired a contractor more than once. The work on my first home was so well done and had such a positive impact on our curb appeal, the house was sold in 3 days! I employed them the second time when I needed a firm who could move quickly in making my fixer upper move in ready (they even helped me out in the aftermath or Super storm Sandy). While the work may be a tad more expensive, it was worth the extra investment to make sure the end product was well done. I absolutely recommend Diversified.”

“I decided to finish my basement in Briarcliff Manor in March 2019, and discovered that the village code required that I have drawings completed by a licensed architect. I got a couple of quotes locally and was surprised at the cost, being that the plans would be rather simple. Finally a contractor recommended Tomas of Botero Building Design. I contacted Tomas and scheduled an appt for him to come over and see the basement. Tomas and his father arrived right on time and were very thorough in taking measurements and explaining village codes. They also quoted me a very fair price and told me they would deliver the completed plans within a week, personally. Once I received the plans I submitted them to the village, along with my application, in order to get my permit. The building inspector did not review the plans thoroughly and would not allow me to proceed. I didn't have the technical "know How" to debate the inspector, so I called Tomas. He immediately contacted the village building inspector and had him take out the plans. He reviewed the plans with the inspector over the phone and then the inspector realized he had made a mistake. I was issued a permit and my contractors started work. A couple of times during the construction phase we needed to get some clarification about the plans, and Tomas was easy to get a hold of and gave us the answers we needed. Tomas and his father are experienced, knowledgeable, and provide an exceptional product along with exceptional customer service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
