“We have done a number of project over the course of 5 years with Artifex on residential and commercial projects. They have been great to work with in all roles of the company, Ed has been enthusiastic and passionate about all of our projects throughout despite the differing work, the Artifex team are professional on site and work tidy and efficiently and any sub contracts have been easy to work with. The key strength of Artifex is the quality of the work and attention to detail which has been a consistent over the last 5 years. The work is always completed within a sensible timeframe and within budget. As a surveyor / developer they have made it very easy for me to work with them and I would highly recommend to anyone.”

“A well-designed apartment fitted with quality fixtures and fittings. Chris and the team are professional and customer focused and closed out snagging items quickly and without making a fuss. Chris and his team are approachable which makes you feel that they care about the customer and the quality of the project. When a water tank seal failure was discovered in a few of the flats they were proactive in eliminating the risk of this happening in other units by quickly replacing the same seal in all the flats. A weekly newsletter keeps owners up to date with the progress being made to complete the development. This communication is vital to explain when and why plans slip, so that owners and tenants are in a better position to appreciate and understand the reasons for delays and disruptions.”

“We wanted a double storey extension built. J came out and explained to us the entire process. His company was more expensive than others but we went because we understood what he explained and we liked the concept plans. Throughout the process we let J and his team manage it for us. With the weather and supply issues the project was completed behind schedule but J and his team kept us informed throughout. We are glad that we hired them”

“"Exceptional build completed on budget in extraordinarily challenging times. Ryan and his team provided full service from input into original architectural drawings to handing over the keys. Despite the difficulties of Covid, the project was completed painlessly and to the highest standard. Ryan offered considerable support and advice to help us through the hundreds of micro decisions that ensured we got the perfect modern finish we required. Our house was a largely untouched 1970s ugly house which has been transformed into a Scandi minimalist living space for three generations. We have no hesitation in recommending Ryan."”

“Tom and his team have been outstanding and so professional from day one. They take the time and care to explain all processes step by step including fee proposals and looking at time lines. They have listened to us patiently and respectfully even when I’ve come put with some crazy ideas but found a solution that was not only pleasing but better than I could have imagined. Will has been brilliant at responding efficiently and immediately no matter how silly the questions they may be, making the team very approachable. He has worked and listened to us and asked all the right questions to find a design that suits our needs but is practical. Both Tom and Will at each point have also kept us advised regarding budget at each step and clear about how the changes we want to make may impact that but more importantly rather than dismissing these ideas, looked for solutions and compromises where necessary which we would be happy with while trying to stay on target budget. We can not recommend them highly enough and have also used the team on much larger projects.”

“I used Le Roi and his team for my extension project. Le Roi helped us with the overall design of our extension right down to the details of where sockets, spot lights and light switches would be located and took our project from the initial drawings and designs all the way through to managing the build and making sure that everything was signed off correctly in regards to planning permission, structural calculations and building control.
