About Us

I love to find exciting things whether for interiors, fashion or jewellery for people as I love to be surrounded by the unique, well made and items with a story. I like to mix old and new to give interiors a personal feel, a lived in atmosphere. My surroundings are so important to how I feel everyday- they should be able to uplift you in low times, make you always feel cosy and comfortable and not make you feel guilty. I love to reuse items I have inherited, been given and find new ways to display them at their best. Interiors are not static but involve with your life and passions. They should be a reminder of who you/your family are.

I am a long standing client of L'Atelier Willmott
Natalia Willmott gave me some inspiring advice on improvements to my house - she is full of creative ideas - with an eye that is always sensitive and sharp. She is a delight to work with and her suggestions are often not expensive to implement and can be transformative - I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The brief was to refresh tired dingy third floor office space in a historic York building by the clever use of paint, wallpaper and carpet a transformation was achieved at minimal cost- less than 3000 pounds it was an extraordinary achievement and the office has been described by colleagues as the best in the group Thomas Holliday Hargreave Hale

Natalia Willmott has a keen eye for truly interesting art, objects, fabrics and furniture. I have purchased a number of items from her and am impressed with the provenance, quality and originality of the pieces. In addition, she has consulted on designing several settings in my home, and she is truly skilled in assembling furnishings and objects into settings that please the eye. Overall I am very pleased with both the items and work she has provided.
