“I have been working with Tallman Segerson for four years on a variety of projects. Every project we have worked on has been a positive experience. I work with several builders in the area and find that working with Tallman Segerson is a very different experience. They organize and plan out every part of the project in advance which reduces questions, delays and confusion. There is always a foreman on site for every project and an office team to answer any questions.”

“My wife and I hired Kling Brothers Builders/Keith Kling to build an addition onto the back of our house, which included a new kitchen, family room, patio, mudroom, and other modifications to the interior. From the start, I was very impressed with Keith’s preparedness and diligence. He created a very detailed and transparent budget (approximately 10 pages), which outlined each item to be done and the price. More importantly, his estimate was accurate, and the prices that we agreed to did not change throughout the project. Keith is also very hands-on. He was on-site every day during the project. He is extremely responsive by email and phone, and if I emailed him a question while I was at work, within a very short period of time, I would receive a response. He was also available on weekends to meet with me, which was more convenient for my schedule. The workmanship of Kling Brothers Builders is top notch. Their on-staff carpenters are excellent, and their subcontractors are all superb. I did not have any issues with shoddy work or questionable characters walking around my property or in my house. Keith is very diligent about the “structure” and integrity of the building, and takes pride in how well built and solid the “bones” of the project are. Although I am not a builder myself, you can just tell that something is well put together by looking at it. Keith stresses quality and perfection, and was not satisfied until we were satisfied. He has access to some of the best craftsmen in the area, and in particular he introduced us to a custom cabinet maker who created a showcase kitchen for us. His other subs, such as the electrician, the plumber, etc., were all personable and flexible. All in all, we were very impressed and happy with Keith Kling. Although my wife and I are reasonable, we also have very high standards. Given the size of our project (to us), we expected top service and attention. Keith came through with flying colors, and he was very friendly, personable, and professional throughout. I have no tolerance for service providers who do not do what they say or make you feel as though you are doing them a favor by giving them your money. Keith is certainly not one of those people. Our project came in on budget, and any additional work that I wanted done was communicated and agreed-to up front. There were no surprises and the communication between Keith and us could not have been better. I give Kling Brothers Builders/Keith Kling my highest recommendation. I hope to use them again on a future project.”

“Tony was hired to be my General Contractor for the construction of my new home in Fairfield CT. I worked closely with Tony for over a year on this project. Tony was excellent. Tony not only ran and efficient and on time construction project but was also instrumental in giving my wife and I advice on what options we should consider as we looked at the various design elements. Tony brought his creative flair, practical design concepts and also meaningful ideas to help save both time and money. Since the project has completed Tony and I have become friends and we still talk weekly about odd jobs on the house or other enhancements that we are considering. In other words Tony not only goes above and beyond during the project but he will be around and available even after the project is all wrapped up. I highly recommend Tony as your GC, he won't let you down.”

“A R Home Construction was awesome. I was so nervous hiring someone I really didn’t know for such a big job. My first meeting with Tommy put me at ease I was sent a full estimate within 24 hours of meeting him. It was also a pleasure to deal with everybody in the A&R team they were all professional and courteous. The start date and the completion date for the project were right on target not many contractors can say that. I was also very impressed by Tommy‘s attention to detail and style he was instrumental in many of the decisions made on this project when it came to tiles and fixtures not only did he make suggestions but he actually accompanied me to retail stores to help make choices. I can honestly say that my house looks like something out of a showroom I feel A&R has exceeded my expectations in this project.”

Dave is a positive facilitator, enhancing the relationship between the owner, architect, and the construction team. With over twenty years of experience, Dave brings extensive skill to the areas of cost estimating, phasing, and construction administration. His knowledge of high quality residential construction is evident in all stages of the project. He has an excellent team of plumbers, electricians, HVAC, masons, and talented carpenters required to complete a major renovation and addition. Dave is very good at guiding the owner through the design and construction process. His powerful communication skills are evident in his ability to work with local building and zoning officials. He is quick to ask questions, when needed for clarification and also to respond to question. His thoughtful and conscientious methods create a beautiful project. His careful planning allowed the owners to continue living in their home, as his team moved from one area of the renovation and addition to the next one. He keeps the site neat and clean. He is friendly, funny, and kind to family pets. He regularly visits his job sites and coordinates the work, several times throughout the day.
