“I highly recommend R&R Custom Carpentry & Cabinetry. We have had them do multiple projects in our home and the results are consistently better than expected. Most recently, they created a playroom for our daughter which is beautiful and very useful. They listen to the customer's desires, and provide insight to improve the project. We will continue to use R&R when projects arise at our house!”

“I have dealt with many contractors over the past few years and I have been extremely disappointed - they either didn't show up/were 2 hours late, were completely unprofessional (cursing in front of me) or they never finished the work the were paid to do. Needless to say that I was very anxious about having to find a new contractor to put in our new kitchen. I found Freedom General Contracting by a recommendation from a friend. Leary, I decided to give them a call. I was very impressed by Steve's professional manner over the phone. He worked with my busy schedule and met me on a Sunday to look at the work I wanted to do and give me a quote. Steve's quote was right in line with the other 2 quotes I received, so the only thing I had to work with was the recommendation from my friend. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt that I needed to do this because I was so impressed with FGC! Firstly, they showed up on time (that's a huge bonus point right there), they finished the job in the time frame given and the best part is my absolutely stunning kitchen (just in time for Christmas). I honestly didn't think it would ever come out as good as it did (I am extremely picky, so my husband says). There were no surprises, no "That's gonna cost you more" and no belligerent men working in my home. It is so nice to finally work with a company who is so honest, reliable and does such amazing work! “Great communication. Knowledgeable. Nice crew to work with. I had them on a major renovation of an old farmhouse. Floors were leveled. Major beams were installed. Complete replacement of electric service. Addition built. Entire inside of the house reframed and converted from double to single family home. Bill Shafer handled everything from permits and inspections to ordering and coordinating with all of the other trades. The site is not an easy one to work on with tight access and challenging location. Everyone that came to the project handled it well and did great work. This was the first project that I worked with Bill on. I made a lot of changes along the way and they rolled with me no problem. This house literally had some amount of everything done to it. Nothing about this house was straight or plumb or level. Everything had to be fit and worked into the old structure. They handled it with ease. The guys are very experienced and fast and talented. It has been a pleasure to have them on the job. Good guys, good work! Thanks.”

Kevin helped with the design, clearly explained the pros and cons of various options, helped us select appropriate materials, and gave us an accurate detailed estimate. His carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters worked diligently each day to complete the project in a timely fashion and always cleaned up meticulously.”

“We could not have had a better experience nor a better result. Phil Heacock, Jesse Heacock (who designed our kitchen and bathroom as well as managing our project), and all their staff are terrific. They communicated clearly and frequently with us. THEY LISTEN! The kept us completely informed on timing/schedule, costs, and unanticipated tweaks. Costs came in just as anticipated, including constant updating on additional items we asked for along the way. Everyone--carpenter (extraordinary, brilliant), tile guy (so skilled and fun), plumbers, electricians, painters, spacklers, floor installers, countertop installers, cabinet&countertop&cabinet vendors--EVERYONE (hope I haven't missed anyone) who worked on our project were not only very skilled craftspeople but also very congenial. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them (disruptive as it was to have walls torn out and to use a makeshift kitchen during the work). Our new kitchen and new bathroom could not be more beautiful nor more enjoyable to use. We will work with them again! (This--our first--time around we met with five possible contractors and got three quotes, the other two slightly lower than Heacock--the additional cost very well worth it.)”

“J,Neville construction did a fantastic job finishing the basement in our Chester Springs home. We installed custom cabinets, a bar and bathroom and were thrilled with the work. The workers were always courteous and cleaned up everyday they were on site. Jerry completed the job on time and in budget......a miracle these days! I would strongly recommend him as a contactor in your home.”
