“Terra Nova has displayed the utmost professionalism from start to finish! We made several changes right before and during the project and they approached each with a "yes ma'am" attitude. Mike White and Adam Schmitz have been an absolute joy to work with, as have the subcontractors that have been hired by them. Mike and/or Adam were on the job site every day and in very close communication with us on scheduling, changes, challenges, etc. I am impressed with their knowledge of construction and creative approach to problem solving. Now that we are at the end of our project and completing punch list items, I am impressed with their attention to detail and perfection - I think they might be more particular than I am! I would highly recommend Terra Nova Construction.”

“Mike Mahn built a garage & deck addition for us in 2012. We have a walk out lower level so we replace our original wood deck with a 2-car garage with deck above. The new structure is solid surface brick and concrete that seamlessly integrates with the original home. The design & implementation are both outstanding, and it is now a focal point for both family time and outdoor entertaining. With any project in which you're dealing with existing conditions, there will be some surprises or unknowns. In our case, this did lead to some delays. Mike and the job foreman, Bob, did an excellent job of communicating throughout the process so that I understood exactly what the issues were, and how to address them. There were change orders involved, but there was a clearly defined process using a web-based job software, so there were no surprises when it came time for contractual matters and billing. Mike has always responded to call-backs without question, and continues to monitor the project in the event new issues arise. He took ownership for his work, and holds his sub-contractors to the same standard, which as a homeowner, I very much appreciate.”

The project required sub-contracting with other companies in which they made all of the contacts and arrangements to be most convenient for me. “My husband and I purchased a 46 year old home in Creve Coeur that was in desperate need of updating. Recommended by our designers, John and his team did an amazing job to get the project completed. His work is the highest of quality and he did not leave out one detail in our project. He went out of his way to be available to us in order to get our project finished with our less than desirable time crunch due to our upcoming wedding. We were impressed with the trim work details and the care in which they protected the home when the subs were there. The design and finish work was exceptional. The home truly is beautiful.
