“I wanted to leave a review for Dan/GPS Building because of the great work Dan has done for us. Dan was appointed by our insurance company to take over subsidence related remedial repairs to our property after multiple issues with three previous insurance appointed builders. Dan came in and calmly and confidently started to address all the issues that the previous builders had either caused or ignored. Dan has an attention to detail and desire to do the job right which I very much appreciated. As something of a perfectionist myself it was good to know that Dan had equally high standards. After Dan took over and made his way through all the outstanding issues we began to feel that we were (finally) in safe hands. Dan has a knowledge and expertise that belies his age. He is confident and knowledgeable in proposing and undertaking traditional building techniques including the use of lime mortar, plaster and rendering. We can’t thank Dan enough for the transformational way he turned a failing building project around, fully addressed all the issues that needed to be addressed (and even a few that didn’t!) and ultimately gave us our home back in far better shape than it’s been in decades.
