“This is the company you want to do your project. We hired Brendan to do a complete kitchen remodeling, down to the studs. They were professional throughout, from the first visit to discuss plans to the punch list items. In fact, Brendan is probably the easiest contractor to work with that we have ever hired. He was quickly responsive to any issue that came up. He has great patience to answer questions and work with the client through the myriad of choices that have to be made for a project such as this, and he had terrific suggestions for both style and cost-saving. The finished project is fantastic, in large part due to Brendan's design suggestions. The workmanship and attention to detail was exacting, and he and his main carpenter Matt were always able to come up with clever solutions to the various construction problems that invariably develop in any project. They don't cut corners or take the easy way out, but rather have great pride in the quality of the job. The project was performed on schedule, with any delays being our own fault for being slow in making our materials choices. As for the financial piece, everything was laid out in understandable terms and there were no surprises, with Brendan even swallowing additional costs on his own a couple of times. In addition, they were extremely considerate of the premises and our dog, always keeping in mind that they were working in someone's home. Everything was cleaned every day, and they even did the little things such as vacuum out the cabinet drawers after installing the cabinet hardware. We have high expectations, and Brendan met them all. If you use them, you will be delighted.”

“We did a total renovation of the kitchen, which had last been updated in the 1980's, in our 300 year old Colonial. Everything from the flooring, cabinets, paneling, appliances, lighting, one window, countertop, backsplash and paint was included. The worst part of the process was preparing for construction--packing up everything in the kitchen. Everyone involved, from Platt employees to the subcontractors they work with, was professional, courteous and did their job extremely well. At the end of the day they tidied up and left the space as clean as possible. The project manager was patient and understanding, even when I was a little unnerved when things didn't go as planned. There were no major issues or disappointments. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, high quality company. It definitely cost more than your average builder but the price was well worth the peace of mind and end result.”

“I had a rather small job, a little "nook" in the kitchen, however it was treated as if it were a whole house. My ideas were listened to and incorporated into the design. The crew came, on time and worked until lunch, they had their lunch and got back to work. They were respectful, polite, there was no rough language and at the end of each day they cleaned up every nail, swept and my kitchen never had that "in process" look to it. When the job was done (and quickly) the crew made sure that they had everything inside and out picked up and put back. I didn't have to go out and clean up the construction site. “After reviewing our proposed shower project with 3 different contractors, we were lucky to have Charlie Adcock, owner of of Woodworks Construction Company, become our forth contractor to review the project. We wanted remove and replace a fiberglass corner shower unit in our master bath. The master bath had radiant heating under the floor tiles. This became a real concern to the other 3 contractors, so much so that they could not work with us to come up with a design that we would be happy with. My wife and I had a few brainstorming sessions with Charlie and he came up with a unique approach to building a beautiful, highly functional large shower that we love! The new shower has beautiful tile on the walls and the floor. Charlie also worked with Federal Glass Company to manufacture and install clear glass panels and a glass door. The entire job was done in a timely fashion, the job site was always neat and clean and all debris was removed on a daily basis. Charlie was the direct interface with the tile installer, the plumber and the glass company. The price for the entire job was fair and the payments were spread out nicely .
