“Karen at Rivertowns Staging has a true talent for transforming space with a minimal budget. She has a brilliant sense of design, color and space and works very quickly. Her business is very buttoned up and she offers you many options at different price points to help sell your home quickly and for the highest price. Rivertowns Staging brought out the best in our home and helped make the whole process of preparing it for sale easier and even fun! The decor was out of date and we'd gathered a lifetime of clutter, but Karen transformed it into the grand home it was meant to be. We sold it quickly and for almost 20% more than the real estate agent had estimated before it was staged. Staging is the most cost effective way of increasing a home's value. “May 2018 Update: After 30 years of living in our home we decided we needed to move. The easy part was finding the new house. Now we need to sell the old house quickly. We were intimidated at the prospect of getting the house sales ready after we moved out. We took much of our furniture and left the rest. I hired Leonor to get the house ready for sale. I had used Leonor to stage homes that I had renovated to flip (see May 2017 review) but this was different. This was my house and it was partially furnished. She got rid of the clutter we had left behind, removed some of our "outdated" furniture and brought in more current furniture, accessories (we had never really used accessories properly) and pictures/art. When we saw the result we were overwhelmed by the improvement. Best of all, such positive comments from home buyers and agents. May 2017: I've used Leonor for staging on a previous project. I was so pleased, I asked her to provide design services for the entire remodel as well. I so please with that decision. Leonor assisted in designing the entire interior of the home including kitchen/bathroom cabinet, tile, paint color, flooring, etc. This work together with your final staging was just tremendous. It all really came together and the broker told me that they got such positive comments about home design and furniture. The best comments was from potential buyers that my broker overheard saying 'I can see myself living here.' I actually received some above asking price offers."”

“After attending a staging presentation by Lori (Spaces That Speak) at my local library, I immediately set up an appointment for her to come to my house for a 2 hour ($300) consultation. Working with Lori was a very positive, pleasant and helpful experience. Her suggestions led to immediate improvements in the spaces I knew needed the most help -- advising which items to relocate or remove from a room, as well as changes to the color of the walls. She was very considerate of my own opinion and at all times, remained friendly and attentive to our needs. Lori's suggestions prompted me to make easy, inexpensive changes (the painting of the walls being the most expensive, but also making the biggest impact). After the painting and spending my own time rearranging things throughout our home, I asked Lori back to help with the final placement of some odds and ends. Again, her recommendations were spot on. She worked quickly and methodically, and I know that the money I spent on her services were well worth it. Our house went on the market today and I am confident it looks welcoming, spacious and beautiful! I highly recommend Lori as a professional home stager.”

“Susan was hired to stage my home for a recent sale. She recommends moving some furniture around and asked to spend a nominal amount to buy accent pieces for the home. At first I was skeptical but at the recommendation of my realtor, I agreed. She staged the home while I was at work and when I returned, it looked amazing! A few accent pillows, a rug in the bed room and some well places lamps made my home feel cozy and luxurious. My wife and I loved it so much that we want Susan to decorate our next home.”

Bernadette from Spruce My Home was highly recommended by a friend of mine as being the person who could really help me scale down my stuff. She had a vision on how to keep the pieces I loved and incorporate them into a smaller space. She really pulled it all together so beautifully and exceeded all my expectations. She even helped me to organize my closets Bernadette is a pro. Great to work with, knows her stuff and how to get the job done! Her rates are also very fair.”

“Mara and Lisa are fantastic and did an above and beyond job staging our apartment. Not only does the apartment look spacious and beautiful, but Mara and Lisa really worked with us in trying to keep the costs as low as possible. The outcome really speaks for itself. The space is completely revamped and de-cluttered, people can't believe it's the same place. We had our apartment on the market before, but now after staging it, within a day we already have our first offer. Real estate agents who had seen the place before we staged, were stunned with how beautiful it now looks. A process I was dreading, was so much easier than I imagined with the guidance and expertise of Mara and Lisa. They were always available to answer all my questions (and trust me I had a lot). I really felt taken care of. It really was as easy as giving them a set of keys and letting them take over. And their cautiousness to try to hold onto as much of our own furniture as possible and keep the costs down low, really meant so much to us. They really had our best interests at heart in regards to all aspects. We are truly super grateful”
