With Jess' help, I now know what pieces I'm looking for, and she even did some online shopping for me. I can't recommend Life Styling enough. “This was my first time using this service, I had a lovely lady Pauline who kindly helped me clear my clutter from my tiny sitting room, and helped me sort out my kitchen counters and cupboard under sink (I have way too many cloths/tea towels) during our 3 hour session. I have arthritis so it was great having an extra pair of hands. Pauline was friendly, chatty and non judgemental, I have collected a lot of stuff over the years and I do try to regularly clear clothes and other items, this has given me a kick up the derrière, I found it so nice to relax in my sitting room after all the clutter was gone. I can’t afford to pay for this service on a regular basis, but I thought I really needed the help to get me started on my decluttering mission and I’m so glad I did. I will definitely ask Pauline back in a couple of weeks/months time if I have the money. In the meantime I will try my best to donate items every time I buy something new and try to only have what I need and use. Thanks Pauline, I’m starting to love my home again x my daughter was definitely impressed and had a big smile on her face when she came home from college.”

“I hired Sarah when my home was beyond a nightmare!! My mother had died and I'd been through a very difficult time, which resulted in things getting totally out of hand. I had boxed piled up, paperwork piled up, wires, TVs, china, you name it.. all in total chaos. I felt totally overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Things were so bad that I couldn't have visitors in my home. From the moment I met Sarah, she put me at my ease, suggesting we start with the bathroom as it was a small room and I'd feel I'd achieve something if we started in a small room. As time went on, slowly but surely, Sarah helped me have a home again which was nothing short of a miracle! She has a wonderful working manner - she's methodical, organised and at the same time kind and understanding. I remember once she had a way of raising one eyebrow, which encouraged me to throw away a tatty old Primark boot which I'd been hanging onto and my favourite expression became "bin it!" I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough. If you need help organising, decluttering, moving - the mixture of efficiency with warmth and understanding is a perfect recipe!!”

“I read two blogs on Jenny’s work and for some insane reason I thought - yes I know it is my time, my wardrobe needs a clear out. I say 'insane reason' as my wardrobe went from padded to spartan in 3 sessions! Yet I can only share that it has been the most incredible opportunity. I now only have things in my wardrobe that I love, not just like, I mean love. As a result, I don’t have much choice about what I wear but I mix and match in different ways and so far, 6 months later and 2 seasons later I have only needed to buy 1 t-shirt and 1 pair of boots. I never thought it was possible. I used to buy clothes to make myself feel better, now I actually get proper help in that area - far cheaper than my shopping trips and much more long lasting. Once I started I found it hard to stop and our whole house has had a clear out. Everywhere feels lighter. It was such a great opportunity and highly recommended.”

“As a fashion stylist, mum and lover of things, my house is ever growing with stuff! My ongoing challenge of decluttering suddenly became so overwhelming that I realised I needed an objective person to come to my rescue and give it a final push. I knew full well what to do but am just too attached to all my things. I was lucky enough to find Katherine in my search to book someone immediately and she was definitely the right person for me. Firstly I immediately liked her energy and personality on the phone and during our initial useful skype consult. So I knew we would get on. Decluttering is very personal and would not work as well with someone who did not understand you and your space. She came for a 4 hour blitz session and boy does time fly. So we concentrated on the main areas and then discussed ideas for the others. I cleared out 20 bags for Oxfam and she came with me in the car to do drop off which - is very handy part of her service. She is full of energy and sympathy for the task at hand and although we both worked hard I felt a sense of achievement at the end of our session. You are then inspired to keep the process going where possible. And am sure I would love to have her again to tackle my small overspilling kitchen for another much needed blitz. We accumulate so many things over the years that a decluttering session is a much needed service to breathe you new life into your space.”

“Jacqui did a fantastic Job of my lounge. She discussed colours, wallpaper patterns, furnishings etc She is very friendly and goes out of her way to help you. I am so happy with my new look and it appears much larger with more space now.”
