“With Jane's help, the dreary hallway of our Edinburgh flat has been transformed. We now have a space that we love. It's good to have specific examples so here are some things Jane did to make this project so successful. First, storage is in short supply in an old flat. Jane found the perfect chest of drawers for the hall and at a very good price! Now I have lots of extra space for linens, which was one of my requirements. We've collected a lot of art and I wanted to use it but was also so bored of some of it. Jane showed us how to hang it things in a new way that made all the old pieces look fresh - I love my pictures again! We do like to visit antiques and vintage shops, and inevitably bring home some 'finds'. When we showed these to Jane, she easily incorporated everything we bought into the final design. There were other decisions to make -- one of the important things to get right was to pick the right chandelier. Jane was wonderful at providing lots of chandeliers for us to look at and consider. The biggest obstacle ultimately was the floor covering. The flat is on a crescent and doesn't have a single square room. When we weren't able to find a supplier who would work with the tricky room dimensions, Jane found a local source who could make the bespoke area rug and was a total dream to work with too. The final result is a comfortable, easy space to live in, that links all the rooms flowing off it and yet has a personality of its own. None of this could have been completed without Jane. We're grateful for her patience, creativity, ingenuity and vision and recommend her 100% without any hesitation.”
