“With Jane's help, the dreary hallway of our Edinburgh flat has been transformed. We now have a space that we love. It's good to have specific examples so here are some things Jane did to make this project so successful. First, storage is in short supply in an old flat. Jane found the perfect chest of drawers for the hall and at a very good price! Now I have lots of extra space for linens, which was one of my requirements. We've collected a lot of art and I wanted to use it but was also so bored of some of it. Jane showed us how to hang it things in a new way that made all the old pieces look fresh - I love my pictures again! We do like to visit antiques and vintage shops, and inevitably bring home some 'finds'. When we showed these to Jane, she easily incorporated everything we bought into the final design. There were other decisions to make -- one of the important things to get right was to pick the right chandelier. Jane was wonderful at providing lots of chandeliers for us to look at and consider. The biggest obstacle ultimately was the floor covering. The flat is on a crescent and doesn't have a single square room. When we weren't able to find a supplier who would work with the tricky room dimensions, Jane found a local source who could make the bespoke area rug and was a total dream to work with too. The final result is a comfortable, easy space to live in, that links all the rooms flowing off it and yet has a personality of its own. None of this could have been completed without Jane. We're grateful for her patience, creativity, ingenuity and vision and recommend her 100% without any hesitation.”

“I have never worked with an interior designer before. Luckily a friend referred me to Amy. She saw exciting, creative possibilities for a space that I saw as a dark, gloomy, boring space. She worked closely with me to find out how I hoped to use the space and suggested other uses. She generated options and I felt like I was getting a selection of real choices not a pre-packaged selection. We worked together to test and agree what would work for me and the space and she then put together sourcing options with back-ups if needed. The dark corner with little natural light has become a gorgeous snug space for cosy, wind-down evenings. Amy is a lovely person and a super professional.”

“Excellent work - Chris listened to what I wanted, and came up with designs for a storage cupboard to be fitted in a shallow bay window, and a bathroom under-sink unit and wall shelving. His first suggestions required very little tweaking so it was clear he had paid attention to what I had said. There was excellent communication throughout and although I had originally specified the work to start in spring, Chris was able to bring it forward at my request. Chris and Patrick were a pleasure to have in the flat, diligent in cleaning up after themselves, and happy to be supervised by a nosy cat.
