Smart, creative, open to our design suggestions but guided us toward something we'll be happy with for years to come. She's very accessible via phone, email and text and went the extra mile for us to help make our budget go as far as possible. I highly recommend Karen for any design consultation project. She's incredibly thorough and detail oriented which was a tremendous help to me and our contractors.”

“I employed Louren Reddick and colleagues as general contractor on a 1000 sq ft gut renovation of an apartment, including a full kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms. having lived in the results for two and a half years, i continue to marvel at the extraordinarily high build quality. friends including another builder (who didn't want the job because he didn't think he could meet my ridiculously high standards) and his architectural photographer wife have told me that the place is unusually good. these guys are the most creative problem solvers i've ever encountered (and this is the third home I've rehab'd in 20 years). their in-house architect, miracle-working wood shop, and relationships with strong subcontractors all contributed to results that exceeded my very high expectations. and they worked for nearly a year – demolition through completion – in a 120 unit building without a service entrance, without making life miserable for my neighbors.”

“We hired Ellene to draw a plan for our home renovation, which involved enlarging our kitchen, enclosing a sunroom, and reconfiguring an existing den. While other neighbors with the same model house had done projects to expand their kitchens, we wanted to use the combined space to get an additional bedroom, small bathroom, and larger kitchen while at the same time only reducing the den slightly. After taking measurements, Ellene spent hours discussing with us how we could best use the space to meet our needs. She asked detailed questions to make sure we would have adequate storage, that the kitchen would conveniently accommodate appliances large and small, and that the new layout would work for our busy family. She was a valuable resource as we made decisions about types of appliances, pantry design, and much more. Five years after the renovation was completed, I can say the money we paid Ellene (just a tiny percentage of the total project!) was money very well spent. We are thrilled with the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and den, and at no point have I said "I wish I would have done X, Y, or Z differently." I have gotten Ellene's input on other home improvements since then, and she always adds a valuable perspective and is a pleasure to work with.”

“We would highly recommend Kenwood Kitchens & Baths. Our experience with the Kenwood Columbia Design Studio surpassed all of our expectations. Everyone that worked on this project was helpful, extremely knowledgeable in their field, and patient as they answered all our questions prior to, during, and even after renovation. The team was ahead of schedule and cleaned the space at the end of each day-something that we were very grateful for. Our project manager, Mike, was in contact with us daily letting us know what to expect for the upcoming days which was extremely helpful. The new design of our kitchen is stunning and unique to our style. Stephanie is indeed a true professional- her eye for design and her skills to compose accurate computer drawings made us confident in our decision to use Kenwood. She put together a beautiful and functional kitchen that I didn't think was possible in the space we had. We had a wonderful experience due to the team of professionals that worked together to provide a smooth and beautiful renovation.”

“I had such a fun, amazing experience today working with Travis from Forest Hill Kitchen and Bath. He is extremely knowledgeble, creative, and his passion for his work in undeniable. He was totally on my wavelength. He was able to couple what I liked with what my husband liked and bring it all together with a backsplash that is unique and custom. He had no problems pulling out every color glass tile he had for us to come up with a good mix that would pull from our countertops. Not only did he have the patience he actually enjoyed working with the colors to help us come up with the best result. He asked all the right questions. We really enjoyed our experience and Left feeling accomplished and excited. He treated our children wonderful and can make a great cup of coffee. It was a pleasure.”
