““I can honestly say that dealing with hobsons|choice was a pleasure from start to finish. They were the only kitchen company who actually listened to the brief, and came back with drawings and designs which not only reflected what we wanted, but incorporated some brilliant new ideas. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their showrooms were so comprehensively equipped that I have ended up with a far better range of kitchen hardware than I had ever known existed – I cannot now imagine life without a steam oven, let alone my boiling water tap! Or the induction hob, come to that. They took responsibility for the whole project from start to finish, so that there was a seamless process from initial conversation through to returning home to a beautiful kitchen (with flowers, basic food and a bottle of champagne kindly provided by Richard Carter and his team). “As local flooring company Precious Stone, we have supported Woodchester Cabinet Makers with their projects for the last eight years providing and installing flooring for their clients. Their workshop is a hive of activity with all the latest machinery and an abundance of old school craftsmen using hand lathes and traditional tools along side the lasers and bench saws. Carry on through the smell of wood shavings to a fully kitted out showroom with oodles of ideas and inspiration. There you will meet Lisa who is positive and extremely welcoming. Tim Buckingham is the Owner/Designer and a an enthusiastic charming character, full of ideas which he hand drawers for you in his studio. Their designs and level of craftsmanship is second to none in my opinion, they really do care about your project from start to finish. Lee, the business partner to Tim, fronts the installation team and makes sure that everything goes to plan with your new kitchen installation. He has a great eye for detail and makes sure you are 100% happy with the end result. Choosing marble worktops, stone floors, underfloor heating decisions, colour of units to building works and decorating! they cover eveything... Well Worth a visit...”

“Very high quality bespoke kitchen - it is the first thing people gravitate towards and comment (favorably!) on in our new extension: they can't help but touch the wood and have a nose around the cupboards and drawers! Service was impeccable, including when onsite when they were clean, friendly and respectful. Cost was highly competitive for such a high quality bespoke option. “Nigel Wilson of Auspicious Furniture designed and built my kitchen and also my en suite bathroom cupboards. From the outset Nigel contributed many excellent ideas, while always taking into account my own. He spent a long time in the flat talking the project through, paying great attention to the aesthetics of the job as well as the practicalities. I live in a converted, Grade II listed, woollen mill and we both wanted the work, while being modern and functional, to fit in with the character of the mill. There were also unusual technical problems to overcome in a converted industrial building and Nigel always came up with solutions with great flair and creativity. The quality of the work and materials was exceptionally high and the whole project extremely good value. I was so pleased with the result that I went back to Nigel a few months later to make cabinets and bookshelves for my bedroom and study and window shutters for the study and kitchen. He is a craftsman who cares.”

“We used Andy’s team of professionals for our kitchen in a new extension and were extremely pleased with the results - as a result we are using them for other work also. Unlike other firms, it is GENUINELY bespoke: they don’t just adjust standard cabinet models, they make everything themselves from scratch. The quality of work was superb - its over a year since the work was done and it still looks brand new despite some heavy use/abuse. The materials are solid and built to last, and the firm are able to use their years of experience to suggest tweaks to exisiting ideas that we hadn’t thought of, while actually listening to what we want (none of your pushy sales patter here). Cost wise it is comparable to somewhere like John Lewis (maybe a bit cheaper) but the quality and service is leagues ahead. They are tidy, polite and meet deadlines set. Can’t recommend enough.”
