“Ollie was great to work with. He spent time with us chatting about what we liked and what we hated! He then took that away and came up with some brilliant plans. He explained why he had chosen each plant and how they would work together. We’re really happy with the end result and can’t wait until everything comes into flower. “We used LGD for several projects, not least the design and building of our garden. The design process was painless, with expert advice from their lead designer on hand almost whenever we needed her. The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. Both the landscape team and designers were engaged and polite throughout.”

“Abel Landscaping and Darren have made a First Class job of my Driveway, Patio and Artificial Grass to a very high standard. This was all done while I was away on holiday, I was kept informed of all progress on a daily basis with pictures sent to my Mobile phone. That's what I call going the extra mile. I had some additional work done and was kept fully informed of any additional costs as when this happened. Thomas who installed my Driveway, Patio and Grass is one of the best Ground workers I have come across, with so much knowledge and great recommendations.”

“Julia Cody and Jane Hamilton were recommended to me when I wanted to transform my garden. Originally it featured three different levels of decking, steps in an awkward place, overgrown trees blocking the light and boring planting. They listened to what I wanted to achieve and made some brilliant and practical design suggestions for tree surgery, extending the decking, replacing the steps, creating a paved seating area, installing an artificial lawn, planting new trees and creating new beds for planting – all of which took my preferences into account. They worked with a fabulous team of contractors to undertake the hard landscaping, who completed the work to a very high standard and with far less disruption than I feared. The project was undertaken and completed on time and within budget. I am absolutely delighted by results achieved and the new garden has been much admired by guests. I now have a great space in which to relax and entertain.”

“We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. We are very happy in our lovely little courtyard garden and would highly recommend David. Rose and Peter”

“Carole has designed our dream courtyard garden. She helped us choose appropriate plants for our super sunny and super shady sites and came up with a really eye catching design for beds, borders and planters based on our love of Hebridean island plants. She relocated some of our old plants which have now flowered for the first time (right plant, right place!) and added height, depth and breadth as well as funky colours. We love being able to refer to our planting plan when wondering what this or that plant is. We loved her work so much we've asked her to do our next job, an acre of windy coastal garden.”
