“I had a fairly large border (approx 8m x 5m) which had been neglected for a few years. I wanted to create a low maintenance flower bed and liked the idea of a country garden look. Ben and Paul came round and assessed what was there in terms of position (light/shade), soil and the shrubs which were worth retaining. We also discussed budget. I then received a planting plan with a quotation and commissioned the work. The bed was cleared and planted mid June and I am delighted with the result. I now have a bed which will flower more or less from May to September and will require increasingly less maintenance as it matures. FGD are extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other areas of my garden (not areas which will result in work for them). I do have another two areas which do need a makeover and I will certainly commission them to undertake the project.”

“Very pleased with the job Zane and his team did, it's high quality and very sturdy. They came in to sort out a poor job done by a previous company. As soon as we met Zane we had confidence that he could help us. The work done has given us a great base from which we will now be able to make our garden into something really lovely. Once we are ready to do that we will be contacting Golden Gardens again.”

“Jane provided a complete garden design by post, based on our own measurements and new spaces planned, once a planned house extension is completed. The end deliverable was a surprise so we communicated almost entirely by email, and it was a complete success. Jane is extremely knowledgeable about garden design and was always prompt in responding to questions, queries and general email comms. I thoroughly enjoyed the process! I felt she understood our brief well and went the extra mile in creating a pintrest board of photo ideas to accompany the design, as well as sketched options and a scale plan of the final design. I loved her sketches so much I had to ask her for some colour versions of the final designs as they bring to life her ideas so well, visually. Jane has kept in touch since, and kindly offered her support and advice should any questions come up once we complete our extension and move on to the garden, over the coming months. “We required a full garden make over to include a family friendly lawn space, summer house, garden shed, hard paved areas, garden lighting and flowerbeds that would provide texture and colour throughout the year. WE also stipulated that it had to be low maintenance! Luckily, we employed Nikki Scott who exceeded our expectations both in terms of what could be achieved on our budget but also from the level of service and attention to detail. From initial survey Nikki was able to provide some incredible mood boards and full colour designs/plans with detailed specs of plants, timber buildings, lighting and paving as well as a number of estimates for all materials. Nikki also helped us to plant out the vast array of plants, trees and shrubs she sourced and delivered at very competitive prices. The project was completed under budget and we now have an amazing garden space which is truly impressive. Thanks again Nikki and feel free to let your prospective clients know they can contact us for further information or photographic evidence of our garden.”

“Our narrow townhouse garden - we're in a Victorian terrace - has to work pretty hard. We wanted a beautiful garden - naturalistic, relaxing - but also one that our three children could enjoy; and somewhere we could work, in the garden studio. Angus's design is fantastically clever, easy to live with and we absolutely love it. We get so much pleasure from our garden on a daily basis - and it's transformed the view from the house. Responsive and creative, we highly recommend ATD. If we ever moved house - and garden - we'd use them again without hesitation.”
